Today was the 4th anniversary of the game’s release in America. But nothing special happened in the game to commemorate the occasion.
After watering my flowers earlier this evening, I then opened my gate at 10:00. Yann came over to visit. In the Able Sisters’ shop, Sable was sewing a one-ball shirt. But there was already one on display. If nobody wants the first one, why make another?
Later, Yann showed off her new Mii. It’s Pikachu!
I walked by Amelia and at first I thought she was holding an axe. It was just her wing.
I also went to visit her counterpart Avery.
I did some fishing. Even though there aren’t a lot of great fish out this time of year, I did catch a lobster, a couple koi, and a football fish.
From the top of the waterfall, Yann caught a fish at the bottom of the waterfall. I tried to time the picture just right, but it didn’t turn out quite as epic as I had hoped.
Shortly before midnight, I ended the party for the night.
I think it looks pretty good.
Anyway, there was a meteor shower in Forest tonight. I stood on the bridge to watch a few of them go by. I also found an empty lamp there.
A bit later, I found Wisp. Well actually, he found me.
When I went closer, he came out of hiding and told me he was missing his lamp.
I gave him his lamp and he told me to rub it in my attic. So I did just that. He asked what I wanted, and I chose furniture. He gave me a pear dresser, which was an item I needed for my catalog.
After that, I continued watering my flowers. There was only one new black rose today. Oh well.
I talked to Bob today and he said he wanted a low-maintenance pet. So he told me to find him a centipede. Oh yes, what would make a better pet than a centipede? 😮
So I went around banging rocks.
I found the money rock (for the first time in months, probably) and a pill bug, but no centipede just yet. So I picked the day’s mushrooms, including my mush furniture piece.
I talked to Egbert, and at first I thought he was impersonating a Furby!
I finished watering my flowers, and found two new black roses today. With that done, I decided to focus on banging rocks for a while. After about 15 rocks, I finally banged out a centipede.
I returned it to Bob, and he thanked me by giving me a cabin couch.
