I took the bus to the city and saw Tom there. He was talking about a guy from Forest that he saw getting his hair done. That would have been Scott. When I recently took a picture of Scott’s Gulliver room, Scott had bedhead. So I went and had his hair done so it looked better for the picture. So apparently the animals do reference things that actually happened. I had previously assumed it was just random things when they mentioned another human character.
And with it being Sunday, I checked the new emotions. You know I’ve been trying to get all of the emotions at one point or another for over three years, and there are still two I haven’t seen yet. Despite checking every single week.
As I boarded the bus, I noticed three horses there in the city. I believe they were Winnie, Peaches, and the yellow one was apparently Clyde.
Back in Forest, I watered my flowers and talked to a few animals. Egbert was talking about the city and how things are so expensive there.
Rowan suggested Forest should have a festival for playing the theremin. The what now?
I decided to end my day with a cup of coffee. To my surprise, Kapp’n was in The Roost! I don’t recalling seeing him in there before.
Oddly enough, the game wouldn’t let me save most of the pictures I took of him. This seems to happen often in The Roost for some reason. Ditto for the theater, especially when Frillard is there. Oh well. At least I got two pictures to prove Kappn’s was in The Roost today! 😛

Rowan was outside my house, and he said he looked through my windows and saw stairs leading down. So he figured out that I have a basement (what a genius he is). He then asked what I do down there. Simple. It’s where I torture nosy tigers.
I went next door to Del’s house and after talking to him over and over, I eventually got him to agree not to move out of town.
I went to the Able Sisters’ shop and shockingly, they had three shirts that I needed for my catalog! The amethyst shirt, the aqua polka shirt, and the straw shirt. Here I am wearing the amethyst shirt.
I finished watering my flowers; I only found one new black rose today. So I saved and quit my game, but the saving took quite a long time. It usually only takes that long if it’s on Wi-Fi. But when it did eventually finish, I switched to my Scott character. I had him put the chessboard rug in his Gulliver room to jazz it up a little.
With that, I ended my game for the day. I’m not going on Wi-Fi tonight.
While I was in there, I decided to change my town tune. I’ve been watching a lot of The Twilight Zone on Netflix lately, so I thought I would use its theme as my town tune again.
Wendell was in town, but I was going to ignore him. But as I was watering flowers, he got in my way and I talked to him accidentally. I decided to see what food I could give him…the only edible thing in my pockets was a flat mushroom, so I gave him that.
He gave me a memo pattern. It’s basically all white, but with a corner folded up. This has got to be the lamest pattern in the game.
Egbert asked me to take a package to Robin. It was a folk tunic; Robin did not like it.
I returned to Egbert, and he thanked me. My pockets were full, so he said he would mail my reward to me.
Later on, Del told me that he wanted to move out of Forest. I asked him to stay, but he didn’t change his mind. I’m going to have to keep working on him.
Bob had locked himself out of his house. So I went fishing for a while and eventually caught his key.
I returned it to Bob. He thanked me and gave me 600 bells.
