Tonight I opened my gate for the first time in a few weeks. Yann and Wendy came over to visit. Yann was showing off a tarantula she caught.
Saharah was in town, looking for old wallpaper, so I went around asking my villagers for some. Yann, Wendy, and I were talking about how my Animal Crossing character looks like the one used in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game.
Rowan, Jeremiah, and Ribbot had old wallpaper for me. Thanks, guys!
I took them to Saharah and she gave me an office wall. Unfortunately, it wasn’t one that I needed (or wanted). So disappointing.
Yann, Wendy, and I mostly just hung out tonight, talking about New Leaf, Wii U, Saharah’s humps, summer bugs, Radio Shack, whales, Arrested Development, lamb burgers, Mario Kart 8, StreetPass, Club LOL, club sauce, and the upcoming 3DS Zelda game. We also learned that Wendy is actually Bowser’s daughter, Wendy Koopa!
Around 12:30 or so, Wendy went on “BRB.” I was going to try to pitfall her, but then we got disconnected. I called it a night and didn’t re-open my gate, but I had a good time tonight.
It was raining again today in Forest, and many of the animals were complaining about it once again.
My two frogs were engaged in discussion, and I listened in. Jeremiah wanted to know why Ribbot was always working out, and Ribbot insisted it was in his blood. To make him understand, Ribbot asked Jeremiah why he always eats snacks.
I went into Felicity’s house, and she was mad because Avery said she looked older than a fossil. So she wanted me to find a fossil for her, so she could show everyone that a fossil does indeed look older than her. But I didn’t want to help her out.
That’s your smiling face??
I enjoyed the rain in City Folk because I didn’t have to water my flowers today. So I spent my day in Forest just catching up with my neighbors. Rowan was telling me how he’s not very good at catching ocean fish.
It seemed that the rain dampened everyone’s spirits. But at least one animal was in a good mood…Ribbot was actually enjoying the rain. He’s a frog, so it makes sense that he would enjoy the rain. But on the other hand, he’s a robot too! So wouldn’t he rust?
A bit later on, Melba and Avery were having a discussion by a bridge, with Pascal standing nearby, silently listening to every word.
I went to check my beaches for a scallop for Pascal, but I couldn’t find any to give him. But I still talked to him to hear his good advice.
And then I watched him float over the waterfall.
