I only have one thing to say about Becky: She’s weird.
I also went to talk to Rowan tonight, and he said you have to leave some weeds in town, because you need to “work out” every day. Wrong-o! Not in my town, bub.
And back behind Nook’s, Pinky asked me for a fashion check. You’re asking the wrong guy. So I told her she looked sloppy.
That’ll teach her to ask me about fashion.
Late last night, Felicity told me that she’s moving away. I didn’t try to stop her.
In the shop today, two of Tom Nook’s three items were cacti. But why? I don’t see the point.
Lily complimented me on my bug-catching abilities. She was wondering if she’d ever be able to complete her insect encyclopedia. Probably not. The difference between us is that I don’t eat all of the bugs I catch.
I dug up three fossils and took them to Blathers to be identified. To my surprise, they made up a complete styracosaurus; it was a styraco skull, styraco torso, and a styraco tail! What are the odds?
I then found Avery just staring into the cliff near his house. Like his mind was in another world. Or maybe his mommy put him in time-out.
And a bit later, Robin approached me. Always be wary of any conversation that starts out like this:
Soon after starting up the game tonight, I saw Rowan and Melba over by town hall. They were standing side-by-side, perfectly still, and facing front. They stayed this way for several seconds; it was very odd. It’s like they were about to walk the aisle and get married.
I went to Lily’s pad to talk to her, and she was talking about the clothes she was wearing from Yann’s town Tropical.
I also spotted Pascal on one of my bridges. For once, I actually had a scallop for him! I gave it to him and he gave me a barrel. He also uttered one of his Pascal-isms and then jumped in the river.
On a different bridge, I stopped to admire the sky…and a balloon present flying by overhead.
And a bit later, Bob asked me to catch a shark for him. I told him I would, just so I didn’t disappoint him…but there’s no way I’m giving him a shark. You have expensive tastes. I’ll buy you some Fancy Feast and that’s it.
