Static lost his key tonight, and not just any key…his favorite key. The key to his house. He asked me to help find it.
It’s Saturday night, so I made sure to head up to the Roost for K.K. Slider’s musical performance. He played Forest Life for me, which is a song I’ve always enjoyed.
I saw the shadow of a small fish in the river, so I got my fishing rod out and caught it…it was the key! Wow, first try!
I returned the key to Static, and he was quite relieved. He revealed that he had a backup plan, however: He was going to trick Bud into switching houses!
I saw Bud over by town hall, and he had a small problem of his own: Fleas. I got my net out and caught one of the little buggers. Of course, Bunnie was standing right there, snooping in Bud’s business.

Static, on the other hand, was hating the wetness. He’s such a grump.
I found a new house in the western part of town, and it belonged to Kitt the kangaroo (and her child). Kitt was one of my villagers in my GameCube town many years ago. It’s good to see her again! Her baby hasn’t grown an inch in all that time, though!
Bunnie asked me to make a delivery to Static, and I obliged. When I returned to Bunnie, she gave me 552 bells. That amount shows up so often that it’s not even all that interesting any more.
The Bug-Off competition was held today, but Nat was long gone by the time I turned the game on.
Cousteau was talking about the muggy heat that we’re having on this hot summer night. But he said he was glad that he has a high-performance unitard! I don’t understand how that helps anything, but I’m not even going to try to figure that out.
Broccolo told me he was looking for a fossil, but he wasn’t sure if he would find one or not. And then, all of a sudden, he was overcome with confidence as his eyes turned yellow. “I’ll find one!” he exclaimed. Good luck with that.
