Growing Warts

A new villager popped into town, and I was not happy to meet him face to face. It was Wart Jr.!

Wart Jr.: Huh? How did you get in here?
No. How did YOU get in here?!

To think I traded Stitches for Wart Jr. 😞

At the Roost, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song. He played “Only Me.” That’s a good sad song, but it’s one that I tend to forget about.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Only Me.

I later went bug hunting, and it went pretty smoothly…except for one little incident: A scorpion and a tarantula both attacked me at the same time!

The world’s first Scorpantula.

Okay, technically the scorpion came first, and then I ran into the sight line of the tarantula too. But it didn’t end well for me. 😛

In all, I earned 139,000 bells in a 54-minute session (and about 20 minutes of that was just doing my normal routine). So it was about half an hour of bug-hunting.

If you didn’t see my latest video, I posted City Folk Moments #14 the other day. Check it out!

  1. Only Me is a song I have heard in Gamecube but not much since then as I have not had any villagers with that song in any games since and I do not go to K.K. as much as I used to. I associate it with Olive’s house.

  2. Last night from around 8:30-9:40 I did a bug catching session in City Folk. Something I had not done in a while. Bugs caught were a Cyclommatus, two Elephant beetles, a Goliath beetle, a Miyama stag, and a Saw stag. I caught several fish but the highlights were a dorado, a shark, a hammerhead shark, and a blue marlin. I did not sell any of it as the shop was closed but it has a total value of 81,000 bells. I did miss a few things I saw that were flushed or something else happened that caused me to not catch it such as 2 tarantulas, a scorpion, an Atlas beetle, a few Elephant beetles, a Goliath beetle, an Emperor butterfly that flew out to sea, a Miyama stag, a lantern fly, and a few oak silk moths, and an eel I missed due to a mosquito.
