Ewe So Nosy

I received a letter from Mom today, telling me she accidentally hit Dad in the face with her racquet (while playing racquetball). Ouch.

Dear Jeff, I tried playing racquetball with your dad, but I accidentally creamed him in the face with my racquet. Whoops! -Mom
There’s got to be a better way to say that.

Right outside of my house, Willow and Apollo started up a conversation. Apollo said he was looking for ideas for something to do with a certain someone. But Willow couldn’t concentrate on ideas, because she was more concerned with who the “someone” was. (The suspense must’ve been shear agony for her.) Naturally, Apollo didn’t want to reveal who he was talking about.

Apollo: All right, if you REALLY have to know, I'm talking about Nunya Bizness from the town of Shutyertrap!

That just angered Willow, and she said Apollo had a screw loose.

Willow: ...Oh dear, I think you have a screw loose, with yarn.

She continued, saying Apollo is living in a fantasy land that’s only in his head. That’s quite rude of her, but that’s a snooty for you.

Willow: You're living in a fantasy land. It's only in your head.

Apollo walked away depressed. 🙁

When I finished reading my mail, I found my blue zap suit that I ordered last week. It will be my Halloween costume this year, and I went ahead and put it on.

Sydney asked me to deliver a gift to Peaches, and it took me a while to track down the wild horse. 😛 The gift was a robo-wall, and she loved it. Sydney later rewarded me with a green counter.

Scoot pinged me and sneakily asked if I wanted to buy a fluffy shirt. He said he needed the money to buy a new…toothbrush?

Scoot: Pssst. Super J. Wanna buy a fluffy shirt?

He was acting a bit sus, so I declined the offer. Actually, I just didn’t want the shirt anyway. 😛

Strong Mouse Returns

Saharah was in town tonight, looking for old wallpaper.

Saharah: I came from far away. I wish to trade wallpaper. It is for wallpaper that I came to your town today.

See that house right there, on the right? It’s where Antonio lived recently, and a new villager just moved in today. It was Samson the mouse.

Samson: Yo! You must live right here in Forest!
He’s so strong that his ear goes right through the wall. 😉

He lived in Forest back in 2017-18, and he was one of the victims participants in my infamous Pitfall Pandemonium video. He must want some more of that! 😉 I’m fairly neutral towards him, although mice in general aren’t my favorite animals.

I recently gave Sydney a new catchphrase “in Oz,” and she used it tonight when talking about Saharah. She even seemed to call Oz a far-off, distant land. Yeah, that fits!

Sydney: I hear Saharah's in town, peddling her exotic carpets from a far-off, distant land, in Oz!

Willow was the first of my villagers to give me some old wallpaper for Saharah. In fact, she was very eager to help me out. Thanks, Willow!

Willow: I do! I do! Here, you can have it!

Pecan was the only other villager to help me out, so I had two old wallpapers. Fortunately, I also had two of them in storage. So I grabbed one of them and took three back to Saharah. Unfortunately, she only gave me a blue tarp in exchange. It doesn’t get much more disappointing than that. 😛

Peaches was sick with a cold, so I went back to the shop to buy her some medicine. While I was there, I also bought the daily piece of candy. Halloween is coming up in a few weeks, after all! Speaking of which, I also decided on my costume for this year. I was a pirate last year, a cavalier in 2024, and a mummy in 2023. So I wanted something different: I ordered myself a blue zap suit, so I’ll be a blue superhero this year.

Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

Hide and Sheep

I received Felicity’s goodbye letter in the mail today, as expected. Good luck to you, Felicity.

My dearest Jeff, I totally had to think about it for, like, forever... but I decided to move after all. Sniff! Don't forget me when I'm gone, OK?! From your BFF, Felicity

Just seconds after I read my mail, Scoot approached me, wanting to play a game of hide-and-seek. He gave me 15 minutes to find him, Apollo, and Willow.

Scoot: So us, we're the hiders. Super J, you're the seeker!

Fifteen minutes is a lot of time, so I didn’t rush. But I soon found Apollo hiding behind a tree near the shop.

Apollo: What?! How did you defeat my ninja stealth haze, in a coma?

I later found Scoot behind Big Top’s house, and then I played “hide and sheep” by spotting Willow behind Peaches’s house.

Willow: OH NO! Can't you pretend you didn't see me, with yarn?
Wool, I’ll be.

Scoot rewarded me with a mega alloid for winning the game. Apollo pinged me right after the game, giving me a free gold armor suit.

I made my rounds and then headed over to the Roost. It’s K.K. Slider night, and he performed “K.K. Salsa” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Salsa.

That was actually the same song he played for me in New Horizons tonight! Maybe it’s a sign that I should eat some salsa… 😉
