Pecan Splits Town

Saharah was in town today, looking for old wallpaper. I started asking around, and I was surprised to see Samson so eager to help me out. Just look at his face! 😆

Samson: Old wallpapers? Yeah, I got some!

Not everyone was quite as helpful. Bluebear even laughed at the thought of asking for old wallpaper.

Bluebear: Old wallpaper? Why did you buy an old wall? Tee hee, peach! Teeeeee hee hee hee!

I couldn’t ask Pecan about wallpaper though, because she was all packed up and ready to move out!

Pecan: I'm getting ready to move out of town, like we talked about.
“I’m nuts about this town, but it’s time to split!”

Actually, it wasn’t a complete surprise. I played last night, and she told me she was thinking about moving out of town. I tried to stop her, but I wasn’t able to change her mind after a couple of attempts. I thought I’d likely have another chance today, but clearly that didn’t happen. But I’m okay with that.

As for my wallpaper quest, Willow and Cube also helped me out. But when I was speaking with Cube, all I could think about was his table tennis table. How can he play ping-pong when he can barely see above the table? 😆

Cube: Huh huh huh! Doing nice stuff is like getting a bear hug around your heart, in a tray!

I took the three wallpapers back to Saharah, and she gave me an ancient wall in return.

Saharah: You bring me many wallpapers!

After making my rounds, I went out to the city. Phineas was there, handing out gifts. But I stopped to speak with a couple of the villagers there, and Gaston told me not to wait any longer. He wanted me to go get a gift from Phineas right away! 😆

Gaston: There's no need to pretend to be all grown-up for my benefit! Get over there and get yourself a prize!

So I did! Phineas gave me a bunny balloon. 🙂

Have a great weekend, everyone! I’ll be back for Halloween next week! Check out my Halloween Guide if you need a refresher! 🎃
