As expected, I received Pecan’s goodbye letter in the mail today.

Of course, today is Halloween. I first played in the afternoon, and I grabbed some extra candy from Guest’s house. When I switched back to my character, Samson warned me to keep some candy with me if I’m out walking around. And he said if the “costumed clowns” get too close, he told me to run for my life. It’s funny, but true! 😆

Of course that threat can be neutralized by trapping the outdoor villagers with holes. And that’s exactly what I did when 6:00 started approaching. Here you can see Big Top and Sydney both trapped, though I later combined them into one trap.

Here is a GIF of them transforming into their costumes when the event began. Interestingly, their flips were not simultaneous! But I’m guessing it’s because Big Top had to put away his net first.

I began my search for Jack, but I also did a little trick-or-treating to get a few extra pieces of candy for the event. This works if you’re wearing a matching “look” as a costume, and my blue zap suit fits the bill. Thanks for the candy, Scoot!

It actually took me quite a while to find Jack the first time, but my subsequent attempts went more smoothly. Here, you can see me finding Jack in front of the two trapped lookalikes in the background.

I played for well over an hour, but not as long as I did the last couple years. I ended up with 19 pieces of spooky furniture, and I sold it all for a whopping 195,890 bells. Ka-ching! That was enough to boost my savings balance up to 82 million bells.

And speaking of savings balances, I posted an updated video of my totals from across the series in the form of a line chart race. The previous video I posted was over 2.5 years ago, so here’s an updated look:
I hope you all had a fun and safe night. Happy Halloween, everyone! 🎃
