Chasing His Tail

A black bass fishing tournament was held today, and Chip informed me that Limberg was the winner. I don’t know how that rat ever caught the best fish; I don’t believe it.

Chip: Limberg from here in Forest! Solid fishing! But not so much for you. Nyuuk nyuk!

As I stood there after talking to Chip, I noticed something unusual. Bones was nearby, walking in circles. Over and over and over again! Was he chasing his tail?

He didn’t stop until I went into a villager’s house and came back out. I wonder if Chip’s tent messed up Bones’ walking routine somehow.

I went down to the Roost to catch the Saturday night musical performance from K.K. Slider. He played K.K. Safari for me.

Midge was sick with a cold, so I bought some medicine for her.

Static asked me for a fossil, and I was nice enough to give him a parasaur skull I dug up in town. In return, he gave me a spa chair. I’m not sure if he’s going to display the skull in his house or not, but his current furniture layout is…let’s say questionable.

The center of the room has a screaming gyroid, a Spanish shirt, and a phone box that appears to be on fire. Exactly what type of look is he going for? And will a parasaur skull make things any clearer? I don’t see how it could.

Macaroni School

Yesterday, Goldie was outside walking around. She asked me for a new greeting, and I told her to say “I’m golden.”

Goldie: I'm golden!

I played again tonight, and I just barely made it to the Roost before midnight. K.K. Slider performed K.K. Γ‰tude for me. Well, Opal was also there enjoying a hot cider coffee.

After the show, I met up with Kitty outside. She said she made a decision, and I got excited for a second. Was she going to say she was moving out of town? Nope. She just said she was going to school to learn how to make better macaroni art. 😞

Kitty: I'm going to go to school to get better at making macaroni art!

When I walked by Goldie, I heard (and saw) that she had a flea on her. I got my net out and caught it for her. Oddly enough, she was carrying a net of her own. Why didn’t she save herself? πŸ˜›

Goldie: ...What?! I have f-f-fleas? Really?
I wouldn’t lie about this, dog gone it.

Kitty asked me for some new clothes, but Able Sisters was already closed. So I checked the lost-and-found, and I found a polar fleece in there. I gave it to Kitty, and she really liked it! She gave me a robo-sofa as a reward.

Kitty: Oh! Good job, Sizzly J! It's the polar fleece I really wanted!

My latest ACCF video, City Folk Moments #6, is here! It shows Scoot skiing, Opal taking a hot cider bath, and me setting a mousetrap for Limberg. I hope you enjoy it!

Garlic Bread & Goldie

Soon after starting my game tonight, I found Limberg walking on the beach. A dig spot was nearby, and I didn’t know what the buried item was. Most likely, it was a fossil or a gyroid. But still, there was a chance it was a pitfall. So I pushed Limberg into it, just in case. And luckily enough (for me), it was a pitfall and Limberg fell in. πŸ™‚

In Nook ‘n’ Go, I couldn’t see what the middle furniture item was. That’s because a left platform (half of a chalkboard) was blocking my view of the item behind it.

I had to pretend to be interested in buying the hidden item, just to see what it was. It turned out to be a ukulele.

Puck was calling himself “Fashion Lad” tonight, and he had a fashion tip for me: Add garlic bread to my outfits. Sounds tasty.

Puck: Dab a healthy dollop of garlic bread on your outfits for a look I like to call cuisine couture.

The other penguin in town, Roald, wanted to play a game of hide-and-seek. He gave me 15 minutes to find him, Midge, and Bones.

Roald: OK, we're gonna go hide...

Within a few seconds, I found Midge hiding behind a nearby house. And less than a minute after that, I found Roald on the beach…trying to hide behind a palm tree.

Bones took me a little longer to find, but not much. I still had more than 11 minutes remaining when I found Bones behind a tree near the fountain. For winning the game, Roald gave me a mini timpanoid.

At the Roost, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song and he performed Mountain Song for me. It’s an enjoyable one to watch, because K.K. sings the chorus pretty fast. πŸ˜›

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Mountain Song.

After the show, I circled around town and went in the house next to mine, without thinking about it (since the light was on, I knew someone was home). It turns out that the house belongs to Goldie, who just moved in! I really like Goldie, so I’m glad to have her around…especially as my next-door neighbor!

Goldie: I just moved here. My name is Goldie.

I’m planning on posting my next ACCF video, City Folk Moments #6, next weekend. πŸ™‚
