Dotty Hops to Town

Last night, I spotted a new house in town. I found Dotty the rabbit inside, trying to hypnotize me with her big red evil eyes.

Dotty: Oh! Hiya! I'm Dotty!Over by the museum, Benedict asked me if I had any spare change honeybees on me. Uh no, I’m all out.

Benedict: So, boss, if you happen to have a spare honeybee, would you mind giving it to me?
They’re not out this late, anyway.

Tonight, I found Kitty up by the fountain and bus stop. She told me she came to check the bus schedule. But this bus doesn’t run on a schedule, it comes anytime you need it.

Kitty: That's why I'm here to check the bus times.
Did you forget this is a video game?

I shot down a balloon present, and it contained a fire flower. Since I couldn’t use it to power-up, I just sold it at Nook’s.

Shooting down a balloon present at night in Animal Crossing: City Folk.Wendell the walrus was in town, and he was hungry (as always). So I gave him a loach that I fished out of the river, and he happily gobbled it down. He then gave me the “mystery circle B” pattern.

Wendell: ...So glad I found someone good to take my mystery circle B!

Tricked Into Playing

Last night, I received Coco’s goodbye letter in the mail. No more Coco? I hate when the last piece of chocolate is gone. 😛

Dear Jeff, By the time you read this, I probably will have already left Forest... Thanks for everything. I will never forget the good times I had here. -Take care, CocoFreckles the duck was sick with a cold, so I bought some medicine for her.

Freckles flips as she takes her medicine in ACCF.Not much else was going on, so I ended my game for the night and decided I would play again today. When I did, Benedict told me he wanted a low-maintenance pet. A pill bug, to be specific.

Benedict: That's why I'm thinking that a pill bug would be the perfect pet for me!I stopped by Nook ‘n’ Go to buy some more medicine for Freckles, because I know one dose never does the trick.

Freckles appears to hover upside-down in the air as she takes her medicine.I spoke with Kitty, and she told me she was just one person away from starting a fabulous event. She said I would fit the part perfectly. Thinking this was just some random conversation, I agreed. Then, we suddenly appeared at town hall with Savannah and Opal. She tricked me into playing hide-and-seek!

Kitty: The time limit is 15 minutes! To win, you have to find all 3 of us in that time.I had 15 minutes to find all three of them, and it didn’t take me long to get started. I quickly found Savannah hiding behind Scott’s house.

Savannah peeks out from behind Scott's house.Right down at the end of the beach, I also spotted Kitty. She was trying to hide behind a palm tree.

Kitty peeks out from behind a palm tree during a game of hide-and-seek.And about 30 seconds later, I found Opal behind a tree near Nook ‘n’ Go. It took me less than three minutes to find all three of them, and that included the time I spent taking and saving the pictures. 😛 Kitty rewarded me with a tall poltergoid.

After the game, I banged a rock by the river and a pill bug popped out. I took it over to Benedict, and he gave me a citrus wall.

Chow asked me for a barbel steed, so I went fishing in the river. The very first fish I caught was a barbel steed! When I handed it to Chow, he rewarded me with an exotic wall.

Chow: Once again, we see there's nothing that I can't get my force, trickery, or... asking somebody. Huh.See you all next time!

Coco to Go Go

I found Coco all packed up and ready to move out of town tonight. That’s a shame, because I liked having her around. She was my 4th favorite villager (behind Savannah, Static, and Benedict).

Coco: Well, there's no point in hiding it. You've probably guessed, but I've decided to leave Forest.Over by my northwest bridge, I listened in on a conversation between Savannah and Poncho. Savannah said that she bought an oversized novelty screwdriver. But Poncho thought it was just the start of a story or joke, so he asked what happened next. Savannah got a bit irritated, saying that’s all that happened. Alrighty then…

Savannah: What do you mean? And then nothing. That's it. That's all I did...I chatted with Chow nearby, and once I we were done, I noticed he was walking funny. Every couple steps, he would twitch to the side. I’m not sure what was wrong with him, but it looked kinda glitchy.

In Benedict’s house, the red rooster told me he was thinking of getting a pet. But you already have three fish!

Benedict: You know, lately I've been thinking of getting a pet, cluck. He asked me to catch a yellow butterfly for him. I would be glad to help him, except that yellow butterflies aren’t out this late at night. Sorry, bud.
