Night of the Coelacanth

It was snowing in Forest today. I saw a big shadow in the ocean, and fished out a tuna.

Santa Jeff catching a tuna from the ocean.Later on, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Megan and Yann came over to visit. In Ables, Megan tried on the afro wig, and she accidentally bought it.

Sally was the only one who had one to give me. But I had two in storage, so that gave me the three required for a rare wallpaper. I gave them to Saharah and she gave me a meadow vista. It was one of ten Saharah wallpapers that I still needed, so it’s good to mark that off the checklist.

Saharah: Yes, now I give you. This is what it looks like:

A coelacanth?Yann also caught one, but Megan wasn’t quite as fortunate tonight.

While in there, Yann kissed Tom Nook! After we were done with the glitch, she went to go find Del (her “husband”) to kiss him too!

Del: Where's my wife?!I then closed my gate for the night. But before I shut the game off, I remembered that Mallie wanted to see a picture of my blue brick pattern, so here it is:

Feel free to use this in your town if you want. It uses palette #12.

Winter is Here!

Winter is now here! Snow now covers the ground, and it’ll stay that way until February 25th.

Snow on the ground (and trees) in Forest.I also used this opportunity to swap out my orange bricks for my blue bricks. They have an icy look to them, but I’ll try not to slip. No more falling through the ice for me.

My icy blue brick path.Surprisingly, I found four new black roses today. It’s very rare for me to find that many new ones all at once. And it’s the day after a (supposed) huge blizzard. Only in Animal Crossing.

I’m Not a Trendy…Striped Cone

It was snowing in Forest today, but the snow still isn’t sticking. The ground will be covered in snow tomorrow, though.

Snow flurries fall in front of the town museum.I recently got a suggestion to wear the king’s beard with my jingle shirt and festive hat. I was going to order one from Nook yesterday, but I forgot about it. But it worked out okay, because the Able Sisters had one in today. I wasn’t sure I wanted it, though. Just because I’m wearing a red suit and hat doesn’t mean I’m trying to be Santa. Still, I tried it on…

Mabel: Oh, that looks absolutely perfect on you! Shall I wrap it up?Ehh. It’s not me, so I passed on it. I think the red suit and hat are festive enough.

I went to visit Bob, and he asked me for some trendy furniture. So I went to check out what Nook had for sale. A striped cone…hmm, I hope this is trendy enough.

Tom Nook: Yes, a striped cone. It costs 720 bells.Apparently it was trendy, because Bob was very happy with it. He gave me a mosaic wall in exchange.

Bob: I never thought a piece of furniture could make me SO happy! He didn’t mention moving out. I’m hoping he’s already safe, although I would feel better if someone else would mention moving.

Anyway, I didn’t have to water my flowers today (because of the snow), but I still made my rounds. I found one new black rose today.
