Goodbye Caroline

Caroline moved out of town today. This was her goodbye letter:

Dear Jeff, Today's my last day. I'm leaving Forest. Good-bye, Jeff. I hope you won't forget me! -Take care, CarolineThere was no rain today, so I had to water my flowers. Along the way, I ran into Agent S. She was talking about Megan, and how she’s a bell-pincher.

Agent S: Hey, you know that Megan person who came through here the other day, in my tux?I also saw Avery on my nighttime stroll, and he felt a bit bored by the lack of events lately. His solution? Plant ugly rumors about Robin.

Avery: I wonder if now's the time to plant some ugly rumors about Robin and watch the fun?Reminder: I will not be opening my ACCF gate this weekend. But don’t worry, I haven’t given up on ACCF; I just won’t be opening my gate every week now that New Leaf is upon us.

A Froggy Night

Tonight, Jeremiah wanted to have a sushi party in the museum.

Jeremiah: We should bring some soy sauce, wasabi, and rice into the museum! But he said he didn’t think Blathers would go for it. I talked to him again, and he asked me to make a delivery to the other frog in town, Ribbot.

Jeremiah: Please go ahead and take this to Ribbot then, on my pad.I agreed to perform the task. But on the way, I stopped in Caroline’s house. She’s all packed up and ready to leave, so I said my last goodbye.

Caroline: Oh, li'l guy... I know we talked about this before, but I've decided it's time to move on.I then tracked down Ribbot. He was hiding in the dark with Avery. Anyway, it turned out the package contained some bowling pins. I’ve never seen a frog go bowling before, but Ribbot sure seemed to enjoy the gift!

Ribbot: I got some bowling pins! Oh, man, that kid really came through this time!So I returned to Jeremiah and told him I made the delivery. He thanked me by giving me a purple lava lamp.

Jeremiah: Huh huh huh huh! Nothing screams "Chill J" like a purple lava lamp!

June is Here!

It’s June 1st, and with a new month comes a new bank statement. I earned 94,520 bells in interest this month.

Dear Jeff, We appreciate your business and hope that you are satisfied with our service. You have earned 94,520 bells in interest.Caroline got my attention and told me she was thinking about moving out of Forest. I didn’t try to stop her.

Caroline: So, what do you think, li'l guy? Is it time for me to move on?A bit later, I saw Ribbot. He was asking about his catchphrase “toady.” The words he chose were interesting…he said he was a toady-droppin’ robot. He is a robot!

Ribbot: I'm like a toady-droppin' robot! The other day, Jeremiah was making fun of me about it...I told him to keep the catchphrase. (I couldn’t think of anything good at the time anyway).

Then, I went over to Pac-Man Pond Park. The month of June brings fireflies, so I just stood there for a bit and enjoyed the sight of them. I love this time of year.

Fireflies fly around the Pac-Man Pond.
