Static’s 2nd Stint Cut Short

Tonight, Scoot told me that he’s planning to have an all-nighter party. He said it’s going to start with an hour of knitting sweaters, and then we’ll go right into some power lifting.

Scoot: Kickin' off with an hour of knitting sweaters, then an hour of power lifting. It's gonna be H-core!
That sounds sew random.

Over at the Roost, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song. He performed “K.K. Soul” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Soul.

After the show, I went in to visit Static and I saw something I did not want to see. He is packed up and moving out of town! 🙁

Static: See, this whole moving thing came up so fast I didn't think I'd have time to say good-bye to folks.
I guess he just had to bolt. ⚡

It was great having him back in town these past couple months, but it hurts to see Static’s second stint cut so short. I guess I can’t complain too much when I still have him on GameCube and in New Horizons, but I really liked having him here too. So long, old buddy!

Sydney asked me to deliver a gift to Rosie, and I agreed to help out. The present was a tin shirt, and Rosie didn’t seem very thrilled about it. But still, she did put it on.

Rosie: And now, to try it on! Um...privacy please!

When I returned to Sydney to tell her the delivery was done, she rewarded me with a ranch wall.

Before wrapping up my game for the night, I gave Scoot a new catchphrase: “So scoot.” We’ll see if he uses it in any interesting ways in the coming weeks.

See you next time!

Cube’s House

Yesterday, I received a letter from Rosie in the mail. She thanked me for the medicine I gave her while she was sick last week. Attached to the letter, she sent me…a cradle. Um, okay?

Tonight, Antonio wanted me to buy his tea-room wall for 1,545 bells. I didn’t need it, so I declined. He insisted on giving it to me anyway, so he told me to put out my hands, up his nose. 😛

Antonio: Fine! Put out your hands, up my hose!
Um, no thank you.

I got to see the inside of Cube’s house now that he’s all unpacked. He has a lot of robo furniture, and a couple pieces of flower furniture as well. But he was just going on about K.K. Slider’s songs…and how they’re like ice cream for his ears.

Cube: K.K. Slider's songs are cool, sweet, and smooth. They're like ice cream for my ears!

Of course, I made my way over to the Roost myself, to check out one of those “sweet” songs. I asked K.K. for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Chorale” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Chorale.

Rosie asked me for some new clothes, so I bought her a No. 4 shirt at Able Sisters. She loved it, and she rewarded me with a surprising 728 bells. She then said if the world was full of me, there would be no jerkfaces. Kind of an odd statement, but…thanks?

Rosie: If the world was full of you, there would be no jerkfaces, at Nook's!
There would still be Tom Nook there, though.

New Cube

Yesterday, I saw some blue paint on sale at Nook ‘n’ Go, so I decided to buy it. My roof had been black for a long time, so I was overdue for a change.

Tom Nook: I'll go paint it when I get a chance, so meanwhile, sit and ream of your new roof color, yes?

Deena’s replacement has moved in, and it’s Cube the penguin! I like Cube, and I recently had him in my New Leaf town before letting him go a few months ago. Welcome to Forest, Cube!

Cube: Nice to meetcha! I'm Cube, and I'm so happy to finally meet someone from this town!

Today, I found the roof of my house painted blue. Tom Nook did a good job with it. 😛

The new blue roof on my house.

Sydney offered me a free robo-wall. I always accept a free gift!

Sydney: Say... Super J, do you have any interest in a robo-wall? It's free, on my feet!

Moments later, Tiffany asked me to deliver a gift (a ribbon shirt) to Antonio. I agreed to help out, and Antonio liked the shirt more than I thought he would. Tiffany then rewarded me with a robo-floor! So Sydney and Tiffany gave me a matching set! 😆

Tiffany: Oh, of course! Here's your reward for that job. A robo-floor.

Rosie was feeling sick yesterday and today, so I gave her some medicine both days. Get well soon, Rosie!

Rosie: Wow, this tastes like the bottom of a swamp.

When I checked the recycle bin at town hall, I found an asian shirt there.

I returned to the game tonight for the Saturday night show at the Roost. I asked K.K. Slider for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Tango” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Tango.
