Bob Locked Out

As I was watering my flowers tonight, I saw that Saharah was in town. So I talked to her and found out she was looking for old flooring/carpets. I went around and started asking my villagers for some. But I couldn’t ask Bob about carpets because he was locked out of his house.

At 10:00, I opened my gate and Yann came over to visit. I then decided to fish for Bob’s key, and before long, I caught it.

I caught a key! ...Whose key is this?I gave it to Bob and he thanked me by giving me a kiddie chair.

Bob: If it weren't for you, I would have become homeless. Even though I have a house!Even though he acted so upset about being locked out of his house, he remained outside for the rest of the night, even after he got his key back.

For a little while, I still forgot to ask Bob about old carpet. But when I did, he gave me one. Two other animals (my two least favorites, Jambette and Yuka) also gave me old carpets, so I had the three that I needed to get a rare carpet from Saharah. She ended up giving me a mossy carpet.

Saharah: Here...a mossy carpet. Very exotic... Treasure it. It is a very rare thing. It was one that I have not had before, so I went into my house to see what it looked like.

The mossy carpet on display in my house (ACCF).Eh. Not exactly one of my favorites.

After that, Yann and I did a lot of bug catching. I caught some Goliath beetles, scarab beetles, atlas beetles, elephant beetles, a golden stag, and more. There are only three weeks left for summer bugs! So make sure you take advantage of it if you want to earn some major bells before the summer ends. In all, I earned 166,900 bells tonight just from bugs and fish.

Tom Nook: Thanks much! Anything else I can do for you?At 11:50, I closed my gate and ended my game for the night.

I have a question for you all though. I resize the pictures I use in my blog to a width of 400 pixels instead of the usual 640 pixels, so that the pictures don’t take up too much space and don’t require as much scrolling to read the full blog entry. Do you feel that these pictures are large enough, or do you think I should use the full-size pictures instead? Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Thanks for your feedback and thanks for reading my blog!

Toenail Milkshake

As I watered my flowers today, I saw a large shadow in the river. I knew it had to be something good, so I fished out an arapaima.

Catching a big fish.I visited Del and saw that he was still sick!

Del: Touch my forehead, will ya? Do I feel warm? I'd better get to bed early tonight...McNugget.So I bought him some medicine for the third time. He took it, but he said it tasted like a toenail milkshake. Yuck.

Del flips as he takes medicine.I ended up with two new black roses today, which isn’t bad. I’ve been getting around two a day lately, after going a long time hardly getting any new ones. No new animals have moved in yet to replace Victoria, but I’m guessing it should be any day now.
