It’s Wednesday, so I went to the city to check Crazy Redd’s new items for the week. He had nothing good this time.

I then returned to Forest and started watering my flowers and talking to my neighbors. Kid Cat was telling me about a crazy dream he had.

A bit later, I ran into Del. He wanted me to deliver a present to Kid Cat.

I saw a new house, and that means a new neighbor. It’s Eloise, the yellow elephant.

Avery wanted me to find him some distinguished furniture. I didn’t really plan on going out of my way, but I saw Nook ‘n’ Go had a regal clock, and that sounded distinguished enough. I bought it and gave it to Avery; he gave me an azalea bonsai in return. I think he ripped me off.

I eventually ran into Kid Cat again and I gave him the present from Del.

So I tracked down Del again to tell him the delivery was successful, and he rewarded me with steel flooring.

At this point, I was tired of running errands for the animals so I ended my game for the night. I had one new black rose today.

I watered my flowers and found three new black roses today. Sweet! I also headed down towards the beach to meet up with Gulliver.

I gave him his spaceship part and he gave me a Merlion. This is my third one. I do like it though, and I could imagine eventually having a bunch of them in a room. They’re nice to look at, and the sound of the water flowing is relaxing also.

Yuka has now left town completely. I got her goodbye letter in the mail today.

Then I went around town and watered my flowers. I had two new black roses today.

Everything indicated that today was a UFO day, so I got ready for it. The UFO indeed came at 6:02, and I heard it pass overhead…but I didn’t see it. But it makes a return trip in the opposite direction immediately afterwards, so I ran up and down my main north-south path to see which horizontal line it was coming on. I then saw it on the northernmost path, moving right to left.

Because of where the river is, my best move was to cross the river and catch it on the other side, near the museum. After crossing the bridge, I heard the UFO coming close…but Anabelle got in my way and blocked me (with the help of a tree)! As I started to panic, I frantically tried to run around her (and the tree) and just barely got to the UFO in time!

Whew, that was a close one. Too close for comfort. Because you don’t have to just hit the UFO while it’s in town, you have to hit it before it gets too close to the edge of town. If you hit it too close, the spaceship part may fall outside of town and then you’re out of luck. But fortunately, I had enough space and I was able to recover the spaceship part. This was #21 for me.

After that exciting UFO chase, I was relieved to have the spaceship part in my possession. I then ended my game for the day. I’ll be sure to visit Gulliver tomorrow.
