Yesterday, turnip prices rebounded up to 99 bells. But that was still less than what I paid for them. Fortunately, the upward trend continued today. Prices skyrocketed to 239 bells. It’s a deal!
That came out to 21,510 bells for my 90 turnips (which I paid 9,450 bells for). I doubled my money and then some. Good deal!
I then saw Saharah in town, looking for old wallpaper.
I started to ask around for old wallpaper. But at 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Yann and Megan came over to visit, followed by Jorge about five minutes later. While checking my map for the locations of the animals’ houses, I noticed that half my villagers live in the top-right corner of town.

Jorge hadn’t visited since April. But he made his presence known.
Avery was the only animal who gave me an old wallpaper. But I had two in storage, so I had enough to trade for a rare wallpaper. It’s a deal!
Unfortunately, I got a tree-lined wall. Just like the one I got a couple months ago. Megan asked to see it and liked it, so I offered it to her. Deal!
We went into Scott’s house to do the merging thing we had planned since the spring. Megan stepped on a roach and acted like she saved the world. 😛
Jorge, of course, had to abuse the toilet and kept talking about his feces and how it was a two-flusher. I went on BRB briefly, and when I came back, Jorge and Yann were having a curious conversation. “We have the same color,” Jorge said. Yann responded “mine is caramel…or milk chocolate.” 😮 But then they told me they were talking about hair color.
Jorge and I were ready to do our starman merge glitch. But Jorge and Megan accidentally merged on their own.
Eventually, we did our glitch.
We did some more merging/glitching for a while and just hung out there in Scott’s house.
Then we went into my upstairs room (the one with the creepy furniture and two Metroids). We visited with the dead dog.
Jorge quietly slipped out of the house. Knowing how Org the Grog operates, I know that meant he went to plant a pitfall seed right outside the door. I tried to warn Megan in time, but my warning of “no mg” apparently wasn’t detailed enough. 😛
Yann’s batteries later died, which gave us a golden opportunity to pitfall her as well.
Megan saw the empty house by the river and asked if she could move in. We didn’t discuss her mortgage, but I agreed to let her move in. It’s a deal.
We then did some running in Nook’s.
We then took turns blowing bubbles behind Jambette’s house. It appeared that the bubbles were coming through her windows and roof.

Jorge then pitfall’d Megan.
I then found a bunch of seashells on my bridge.
Of course, it was Jorge.
Del had locked himself out of his house, so I went fishing and caught his key. He rewarded me with 600 bells.
After Megan made a trip home to sell her stuff (my Nook’s was closed), we had a 10-minute fishing competition. Jorge won with 14 fish. Megan and I tied for last place with 11 fish. I blame it on the right brackets. ]]]]]]]
After Jorge posted a message on the bulletin board saying that all shells must be placed on bridges, I proposed a counter-offer.

Jorge eventually picked up the shells, but he and Megan were off hiding somewhere (and giving me phony hints as to their location). After checking all of my characters’ houses (and their attics), I got tired of looking. I ended the party as I was in Guest’s empty attic. But after the screen faded in from black, I got a surprise: Someone was sleeping in Guest’s bed! 😮
For a second, I wondered what was going on. I just ended the party, but now someone’s in the bed who wasn’t there a few seconds ago? But then I realized it was Guest himself. I rarely go into my characters’ attics with other characters when not on Wi-Fi (they don’t appear online), so I forgot that the characters would be up there. So it was a surprise. I then ended my game for the night.
I checked out Crazy Redd’s new selection for the week. He had a green dresser, a nice painting, and a tennis table.
Back in Forest, I checked today’s turnip prices at Nook’s. They’re down to 59 bells apiece today. They were 67 yesterday, so it’s been decreasing every day. I’m hoping the prices spike at some point, no later than Saturday.
Well, my hopes of getting Savannah have been dashed. I saw a new house in Kid Cat’s old spot; Robin moved in today. I also have her in my GameCube town.
And finally, I saw Eloise today. She asked me for a new catchphrase, but I told her to stick with using dumbo.
I went into Nook’s to check turnip prices. Nook was paying 76 bells per turnip, which is significantly less than what I paid. So no deal for today.
It was raining in the city, and later on it rained in Forest as well. So no need to water flowers today. I still made my walk around town though, and on the way, I spotted a large shadow in the river. I fished out a king salmon.
And then I heard what I always hate to hear: Katie’s crying. Her mother was in Tropical, which is Yann’s town.
Later on, Yann opened her gate so I could drop off Katie.
I check Yann’s Nook store for turnip prices…67 bells. Even worse than in Forest. Yann then asked if I wanted to say goodbye to Kitty, who is moving out of Tropical. I went to speak to her and she was very rude.
I returned to Forest and shot down a balloon present. It contained a sink. Avery asked me for a new greeting. A certain someone keeps insisting that Avery is the eagle in armor, even though I told her he isn’t, so I made his catchphrase a message to her. (She’s thinking of Sterling, by the way).
