A Trip to the City

I again went to the Happy Room Academy and again, they had a new model room.

A Japanese-themed model room at the HRA.This time, it was indeed Bushido’s room.

Lyle: This month's winner? Kid from Toshi. Name's Bushido. Ya see him? Tell him congrats. While in the city, I saw Poppy wearing a Yoshi shirt. When an animal in the city is wearing a pattern, it’s a dead giveaway that he or she has recently moved out of someone’s town. Usually it will be a friend’s town, but this time it turned out to be a friend of a friend. Poppy came from Elliot’s town. Elliot is a friend of Yann.

Poppy: I just don't get it. Why would you come all this way just to sit in a dark theater, nutty?I then returned to Forest and talked to some animals, including Anabelle.

Anabelle: The road to ladyhood is a long and bumpy one, nasal drip...
Just like your nose.

And Rowan told me he wanted to move out of town.

Rowan: I've talked it over with myself, and I decided to bail and move out of town. But I told him not to leave, and he agreed to stay. So I may not be getting that Poppy from the city.

I made two trips around my town looking for Pete and I didn’t see him. I thought maybe I would finally have another UFO visit. But just when I was about to call off my search, I saw Pete. Ugh.

Pete: Does it really matter though? After all, I'd be the delivery person either way!

Talking to the Animals

Today, Victoria (rudely) told me that she’s going to move out of town.

Victoria: I'm moving, peasant!I told her not to go, but she said she was going to move out anyway. But then she softened a bit, saying she was glad I wanted her to stay and that if I keep being nice to her, she might change her mind. So I’ll have to keep talking to her in the coming days.

Making my way around town, I talked to a number of animals in town, including Egbert.

Egbert: A smack of ham. It's the perfect weather for chillin' outside!I also said hello to Sable.

Sable: It's always so good to see you, Jeff! And I completed my circle around town by talking to Del. He always has some insightful words.

Del: It doesn't smell REAL good, like a girl's room or something, but take a sniff. Not stinky either, right?

HRA Model Room

I went to the city to check for new emotions, but there were none that I wanted. So I went next door to the Happy Room Academy (HRA). This month’s theme is the room that is most nostalgic. This is what I saw:

A Japanese themed model room at the Happy Room Academy.I was expecting it to be Bushido’s room, but it was actually Olivia’s.

Lyle: This month's winner? Kid from Anville. Name's Olivia. Ya see her? Tell her congrats.I then rode the bus back to Forest.

When I went in Nook’s, he again asked me what I value most in a store. Like clockwork, it has again been 38 days. As always, I chose “nothing much” to keep my current store. Nook ‘n’ Go has the best hours (open until 1 a.m.) which is perfect for me, especially this time of year. Summer nights are the best time to catch lots of valuable bugs.

Tom Nook: For example, Jeff... What do you look for in a store, hm?I watered my flowers and I ran into Victoria. She was complaining about a carsick bus driver…could it be Kapp’n?

Victoria: And then HE was like, "I'm carsick." ...YOU'RE A BUS DRIVER! Like, go get a new job!
