Sunday Summer Sunday

I took the bus to the city to check the new emotions. I decided to get delight again as my “happy” emotion. Delight is the clapping one.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?I returned to Forest to water my flowers. But there were no wilted flowers today, and I’m pretty sure it didn’t rain yesterday. But Megan told me there was a charm reward if I planted a tree in her town, and I did that last night. I’m hoping the reward was the non-wilting flowers one. That would be hugely awesome for someone with as many flowers as me to be able to go the rest of the month without watering! I’ll keep you posted to see if that is indeed the case.

Update: The monthly charm rewards only last one day, unfortunately.

But moving right along, I spotted a scorpion near the river. I backed up, got my net out, and crept towards it. It was hiding behind a tree and I wasn’t quite sure if it was still there or not. But I got close to where I thought I saw something, swung my net, and caught it.

I caught a scorpion! It looks kind of crabby to me...I went into The Roost and had a cup of coffee next to Phyllis. For some reason, it wouldn’t let me save the pictures I took of her talking to me. I tried about five times, and none of them would save.

Me and Phyllis enjoying coffee in the Roost.Avery approached me and said he wanted to move out of Forest (already?!). I told him not to go, and he decided to stay.

Avery: And moving's such a hassle, anyway. All right, you've convinced me. I'll stay in Forest!Rowan asked me what I thought of him. I told him he rules. He liked that.

Rowan: I bet we'd make a sweet crime-fighting, tag-team wrestling duo, inside me!I figured I’d do a little bug-hunting before I ended my game for the night. I decided I’d go from Nook’s, down to the right end of the beach, then left across the entire beach and back to Nook’s again. If I earned less than 20,000 bells in that span, I would stop there.

So I made the trip and ended up with over 21,000 bells. I gave the trip another try, and again I made over 21,000 bells. My third trip wasn’t as lucky; I only caught three dynastid beetles which netted me a total of only 4,050 bells. So I called it a night. But on my last beach walk, I did talk to Del. He asked me for a new greeting, so I gave him one.

Del: I ate my kids! The kids will love that like a clown made of balloons, you punk!

Friday the 13th

Today, Saharah was in my town, looking for old carpets.

Saharah: I came from far away. I wish to trade carpets. It is for carpets that I came to your town today.Around 10:05, I opened my gate. Megan, Yann, and Bushido Ness came over to visit. Megan, as always, displayed her…unique…fashion sense.

Jeff: Nice look for you. xDI continued asking my villagers for old carpets, without any luck. I looked at my map to see which villagers I hadn’t asked yet and I saw something shocking. Even though today was Friday the 13th, I’m not superstitious. I’m not even a little stitious. (Yes, I stole that joke from The Office).

But then, I saw something horrifying. Frightening. It was…Jambette.

Jeff, meeting Jambette: My worst fear realized.Jambette is, without a doubt, the worst villager in Animal Crossing history. She makes Rhonda look innocent. She makes Yuka look friendly. And she even makes Elise look tolerable. She would make Jorge’s ugly collection of villagers look like a decent group of animals.

I met Jambette in a friend’s town a few years ago and I hoped this day would never come. And to think I let Mint leave town for this thing? I’ve made a huge mistake.

Jeff: Ugh, [I have] Jambette & Yuka.Once that ordeal was over with, I went back outside. Trying to forget that traumatic experience, I continued asking my animals for old carpet. Nobody had any. Not even one.

Del: Sorry, I can't help ya. Next time one of my rugs starts to look grungy, I'll save it for you, you punk!I noticed Anabelle’s tail almost looked like a beak coming out of the Pac-Man ghost’s face on the shirt she was wearing. It reminded me of Buck’s tail as seen in ACCF Wi-Fi Moments #32.

Anabelle's tail looking like a beak or nose coming from the Pac-Man ghost on the back of her shirt. At the stroke of midnight, Cinderella Ness had to leave to catch a carriage ride home. 😀 The three of us remaining continued to catch bugs and fish until Nook closed at 1 a.m.  I ended up with around 150,000 bells on the night. Even after Nook closed, we still continued to catch more; we just can’t sell them until tomorrow. We also acted crazy and did weird things, as usual.

Jeff smacking Megan with a net. Then we stood on a bridge, telling jokes and puns.

Jeff: Bridge the gap with puns.Shortly after 2:00, Brian came over to visit. So my town was full once again. He actually looked a lot like Jorge; he had the same hair style and color (green) that Jorge has worn before. We hung out, talked, and caught more fish and bugs.

Around 3:00, I decided to end the party. But before I did, we all posed for a picture with some of our catches. It’s not very often I still have a full house at 3 a.m., but it was a fun night in Forest.

Update: Here is a video showing me meeting Jambette.

Mint-B-Gone

Just a short update this time. Mint has now moved out. I got a goodbye letter from her today.

Dear Jeff, I've decided to move away from Forest. It's hard to say bye to good friends like you. So I won't. Because I'm SURE we'll meet again somewhere! -From: MintI also got a letter from Becky in Megan’s town May West. I’ve had Becky before, but I’m not interested in hearing from her. Becky, how did you even get my address?

Jeff, This is Becky from May West! Remember? Next time you have a chance to visit, plesae stay and visit a little bit longer! I hope to see you again! -BY: BeckyMegan is trying to get gold roses, so I told her to let me know when she got a wilted black rose and I would visit her and water it with my golden watering can. So she let me know today and I went to May West to water it.

Jeff: You ordered gardenererer? So her wilted black rose will turn into a gold rose tomorrow. That’s all for now, check back late tomorrow night for a longer blog entry.
