Today I got a letter from Drift, who I met in Yann’s town Tropical.
I watered my flowers and found one new black rose. Later on, I opened my gate. TZ and Yann came to visit. At one point, Yann was talking to Del, but Del’s snout went through Yann’s head.
We were discussing the term R&B (rhythm & blues) and listing other possible things that the letters R&B could stand for (other than music). Some of the better ones we came up with included rolls and butter, ribs and BBQ, rocks and boulders, rabbits and bunnies, rupees and bells, ranch and buffalo, ribbons and bows, rears and butts, rice and beans, and rifles and bullets. Yes, somehow we end up turning Animal Crossing into a word game sometimes. If you think of some good ones for R&B, post them in the comments!
Around 11:00, TZ left and Bradley came in. We hung out in Peaches’ house for a while, and talked about Del leaving soon. My Yukon Cornelius Mii made an appearance, looking for the similarly-named Yuka, who we ended up trapping near the beach. Bradley saw a fish and caught it…it was a tuna! Nice catch!
We later went to my house, where we all were starting to get tired. I ended the party soon after this picture was taken.

I talked to him over and over, probably over 20 times, trying to get him to change his mind. But he never did. I think he’s a goner. 🙁
She showed me her house…
And I caught up with Anchovy, who moved from Forest to Tropical.
She gave me a tour of her town and I met all of her animals, except for Iggly, who was sick in bed.
Kitty called me a cool foreigner! That’s a strange thing to say.
In Rhonda’s house, I noticed that her chair faces her mirror. So she can sit and stare at herself all day long, apparently.

It says ponds won’t freeze over this year, but of course it says that every year. Ponds don’t freeze over in this game, and that’s a shame. In some Harvest Moon games, the ponds actually do freeze over in winter. The ability to walk over frozen ponds can lead to secret items or secret areas. And it’s always rewarding to explore a new area and find something new. It would be nice if Nintendo could do something like that in future Animal Crossing games.
I also went into the marquee (theater). There actually was a Frillard emotion (sleepiness) this week, but it’s not one I was hoping for.
So I went back to town and watered my flowers. I found two new black roses today. I noticed a lot of animals were out, with several of them whistling/singing and enjoying the day.
Bob, who came into view about one second after I took the above picture, asked me to deliver a gift to Mint. As you can see in that previous picture, Mint was very close by, so it made for an easy delivery. It was a polar fleece, in case you were wondering.
But returning to tell Bob wasn’t quite as easy. Somehow he made it all the way back to his house in a very short amount of time. He probably hasn’t ran that fast since he heard the Meow Mix commercial on TV. But he thanked me for making the delivery and gave me an old board floor as a reward.
