3rd UFO of 2012

I got a letter in the mail today from the snowman I built yesterday. He sent me a snowman carpet.

Snowpro Jeff, Those feet of yours will stay nice and cool on this snowman carpet! It's just my way of saying thanks for putting me together. -From the SnowmanI went around and watered my flowers today. I found three new black roses, which was really nice considering I haven’t had many new ones lately.

While making my rounds (between 5:00 and 5:30), I noticed that Pete was nowhere to be found. Ditto for any other visitors. You know what that meant…UFO day! At 7:02, I shot it down. You actually can’t see the UFO in this picture, but I did hit it. This is my 3rd UFO shooting of 2012, and 13th overall.

Shooting my slingshot into the sky.I then went looking for the spaceship part. Gulliver will be in my town tomorrow. Will I get something new from him or just another duplicate? Find out tomorrow.

Recovering Gulliver's spaceship part.

Building a Snowman, and a Fossil for Kid Cat

While watering my flowers today, I saw two snowballs very close together. I’ve been lazy when it comes to making snowmen lately…in fact, I hadn’t made one in about a month. But since the snowballs were only a few feet away from each other, I figured I’d give it a try.

Snowman: If you ever need anything, anything at all, and I can do it without moving from this spot, just ask.It was a good one (which makes me 7-for-7 this winter), so I’ll be getting a piece of snowman furniture in the mail tomorrow.

I also talked to some of my animals as I made my daily walk around town. Kid Cat asked me to find him a fossil. For once, he didn’t ask for any specific fossil… I hate when they do that, since it’s almost impossible to find any specific one within a short time frame. But since any fossil was okay with him this time, I looked around and found one–a sabertooth skull.

Kid Cat: A sabertooth skull!I gave it to him and he thanked me with a groovy wall. Of course he totally ripped me off. A sabertooth skull sells for 2,500 bells, and a groovy wall sells for only 320 bells. I can only hope trades like this make the animals happy and less likely to move out, since I like Kid Cat. Still, I like it better when animals ask for something cheap and easy to find, like a pill bug.

I Saved Del!

I got two letters in the mail today. One was the weekly report from the Happy Room Academy (HRA). They said my house scored 121,962 points. The other letter was from Kaitlin (Katie’s mom), thanking me for returning Katie to Hyrule.

Hello, Jeff, I really appreciate your efforts the other day, helping bring Katie back home. Please accept this small token of my sincere thanks! -From the Lost Girl's MomShe sent me a Papa bear, which I ended up selling. On my way to the bus stop, I ran into Bob. He played a town tune from his days when he lived in Pie Town.

Bob: It's my favorite song from when I used to live in Pie Town, master!I then took the bus to the city. I checked out this week’s new emotions: Joy, heartbreak, anger, and resignation. No Frillard emotes this time.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?I then went back to Forest to water my flowers. I didn’t find any new black roses today, unfortunately. But I did get some good news… I talked to Del, and he said I talked him out of moving!

Del: You've convinced me, dawg. I'll stay on as Forest's crankiest resident a while longer. As I made my way around town, I talked to several of my other neighbors, including Kid Cat.

Kid Cat: Got any grapes?!
