I checked my mail and saw a goodbye letter from Pierce.

I opened my gate about 10:05 and Bradley came in, dressed up as Mario. A few minutes later, Bushido came in, dressed as Ness. I felt left out, being the only one not dressed as a Nintendo character. I was already wearing a monocle, so I put on the golden brick pattern and said “I’m Golden Eye.”

I’m aware that Golden Eye isn’t a Nintendo character, but it was my feeble attempt at fitting in. 😛 And Bradley had already changed out of his Mario outfit by the time I took this picture, but oh well.

BushyNess mentioned that my house is still a mess, thanks to all the Roman candles I have lying around everywhere. And it’s true that I haven’t worked on my house in a long time. That may change in October…

After we were done in my house, I continued watering my flowers. I found one new black rose today. Bushy decided to leave, and then I replaced the bikini patterns in the Able Sisters shop, since summer is officially over now. Also, I planted some flowers in the dirt spot that used to be Pierce’s house.

Bradley and I did some fishing.

Unfortunately, we caught a lot of sea bass. We just threw them back. I did catch a nice variety of fish though, even if they weren’t particularly valuable. A moray eel, a sea horse, a zebra turkeyfish to name a few.

I picked up some Roman candles off my floor and gave some to Bradley. We had some fun burning them off. Bradley left around 11:00. I kept my gate open for a while after that, in case anyone else came. By 11:35, I gave up and closed my gate for the night. I may go to Bradley’s town tomorrow night, though.

A whopping four new black roses appeared today. That ties my all-time best. Two of them were formed from a line of other black roses near my fountain. Those two are shown in the picture below.

While watering my flowers, I saw two big shadows in the river. So I caught an arapaima and a king salmon. Also, Del walked up to me and gave me a green counter for free.

While watering my flowers, I saw a large shadow in the river. I got my fishing rod out and caught a pike. Haven’t caught one of those in a long time. It sold for 1,800 bells.

The two blue roses by Scott’s oceanfront house produced another black rose today.

Saharah was in town, looking for old carpet. I talked to all ten of my animals, and only one of them (Nana) had an old carpet to give me. But fortunately, I had two of them in storage, which gave me the three total that I needed for a rare carpet. I gave them to Saharah and she gave me a tropical floor.

I also saw two balloon presents today (at different times, of course), and both of them were yellow. Using my slingshot, I shot them down. One present contained a wet roadway sign and the other had a cabana bookcase.
