Magma Vacuum

Yesterday, Static was talking about robot vacuums. He was wondering what would happen if you had a dirt floor: Would the robot just keep going until it hits magma? 😂

Static: The robot's job is to vacuum all the dirt, right? So on a dirt floor, does it just keep goin' until it hits magma?
That would have to be one powerful vacuum!

Today, I made a brief visit to Beth’s town of Cassia. Some of you may remember Beth from my New Leaf blog, but this was our first time playing New Horizons together. Her town was beautiful, and I really liked her post office. Excellent use of the simple panels!

And this starry room in her house was just stunning. I love this wallpaper!

Back in Forest, the Nooklings were paying 107 bells for turnips. I sold my 30 turnips for 3,210 bells. Not the biggest haul of course, but they were free, so I can’t complain.

I tried speaking to Hornsby, who was sticking his face into a retro fan (not a bad idea for this time of year). However, I was mindlessly pressing the button and I didn’t realize that I wasn’t actually talking to Hornsby: I was buying the fan by mistake!

Tommy: Excellent purchase! ...purchase!

For some reason, the game wouldn’t let me speak to Hornsby while he was there. Even though I went out of my way to make sure I was facing Hornsby, and not the fan or a Nookling, it kept asking me if I wanted to buy the fan!

A few special characters were in town tonight: I got a large star fragment from Celeste, some running tights from Wisp, and I bought a simple small dresser from Jolly Redd. (He didn’t have the art I need.)

I recently posted a video of my Happy Home Paradise designs, so check them out if you’d like!

See you all next time!
