Last Saturday was Halloween, and I briefly played during the event. One of my villagers gave me a lollipop pretty quickly, so I was able to pass it on to Jack without spending much time in the game.

He gave me a spooky carriage for it, which was really all I wanted to get anyway. Mission accomplished. (I spent more time in City Folk for Halloween this year.)

The next day (November 1st), Bea was camping at the campsite. I wouldn’t mind having her in Forest at some point, but I didn’t want to kick anyone out for her right now.

The new month brings mushrooms that can be found all around the island. Most notably, you can find rare mushrooms buried in town. They’re worth a whopping 16,000 bells apiece. ðĪ

On Wednesday, I listened in on a conversation between Static and Agent S. Apparently, Static has been stressed out because he hasn’t been able to catch a mystery goon that’s been hanging out on the island at night. So me and Agent S agreed to help him keep an eye out for his mystery goon. ð

Tonight, Bob was sitting down on the ground, blocking the path through Donkey Kong Country. When I spoke with him, he used his catchphrase to say a cloud looked like a sandwich, or Louie. ð

Pascal popped up when I caught a scallop, and he wondered why they call it a flower bed when the flowers look wide awake to him. ðĪ·

I gave him the scallop, and he gave me a mermaid princess dress and a pearl.
Here are a few other quick notes about this week:
- On Sunday, K.K. Slider performed “Soulful K.K.” for me, Savannah, Kid Cat, and Agent S.
- On Tuesday, Static sent me a skeleton in the mail, saying he hopes it give me good luck! That’s kind of a creepy good luck charm, but thanks, I guess? ðĶī
- I retrieved Gullivarrr’s phone for him, and he sent me a pirate dress Wednesday.
