Bare Bones Outfit

On Tuesday, Kid Cat wondered which sport he should start playing professionally. He decided on baseball, and his catchphrase certainly fit with that choice.

Kid Cat: Baseball feels right... I think I'd be pretty good at it, in my helmet.

(Baseball players wear helmets when batting, but not when pitching or fielding.)

He continued on, imagining hitting a home run so far that it might leave the solar system! That might be hard to do, even for a superhero like Kid Cat. 😉

Kid Cat: With the fans cheering me on, I'd blast a home run so far that it might leave the solar system!

But Kid Cat wasn’t the only one using a catchphrase in fitting situations. On Wednesday, Merengue was telling me about her cherry pie…

Merengue: With the right plating, you can make a really great interior set piece using some cherry pie.

She said it will add charm to any room…for dessert!

Merengue: It will add charm to any room and really pop in photos, for dessert!

Soleil the hamster was camping at the campsite, while holding a sandwich. I did not invite her to move in.

Soleil, at the campsite: Oh, thank you for stopping by. I don't believe we've met. I'm Soleil.
A hamster with a ham sandwich?

Today, Bones asked if I knew the comfiest part of his outfit. He quickly told me that it was his sweatshirt. I knew he was telling the truth, because that sweatshirt was the only part of his outfit! He wasn’t wearing anything else!

Bones: Hey! Do you wanna know the comfiest part of my outfit? It's my sweatshirt!
It’s a bare Bones outfit.

Louie offered to teach me a new training program he designed. It’s called the Louie Extreme Digging Workout, and it involves digging holes all over the place.

Louie: This technique basically involves flexing your biceps and digging like there's no tomorrow, I'm cranky.

Since Louie is secretly Donkey Kong, it just makes me think of all the digging and destruction DK can do in Donkey Kong Bananza. 🍌

Here are a few other quick notes about this week:

  • On Sunday night, I caught a stinkbug for Peanut. She called it “totally fab” and then gave me an argyle sweater.
  • I returned a lost planner to Static, and he rewarded me with a cook cap with logo.
  • I helped out Gulliver yesterday, and he sent me a sombrero in the mail today.

Have a Happy Halloween, everyone! If you’ll be participating in the game’s festivities, check out my Halloween Guide for a refresher! 🎃

See you next time!
