On Monday, Kid Cat was trying to rip me off while selling me a kids’ smock. I turned down his first three offers: He wanted 1,950 bells, then 1,500 bells, and then 1,050 bells for it. I thought he would give up after that, but he made a 4th offer too! It was under 1k (750 bells, to be exact), so I reluctantly bought it at that price. He called me a “crafty nutball” for outplaying him. Yeah, I don’t think so.

Just be happy I bought it at all, Mr. Cat.
When I started the game up on Tuesday, it was raining…but also sunny. I figured I might see a rainbow at the top of the hour, and sure enough I did. A double rainbow, in fact.

Merengue also commented on it, telling me how happy she was to see it.

I still think rainbows are far too pale and colorless in this game, but it’s nice to see it anyway.
The next day, I spoke to Bob on the ramp going down to Sudden Valley and the camera shifted to an almost perfectly overhead view. It even made my fountain look like… um, a valve.

Here are a few other quick notes about the past week:
- Last Sunday night, K.K. Slider performed “K.K. Soul” for me and Agent S.
- On Tuesday, I gave some medicine to a sick Static. He rewarded me with a dragon suit.
- Tonight, Bob asked me to deliver a gift (an explorer shirt) to Bones. Bones loved the gift, and he thanked me by giving me a sweatshirt.
