Static the Gardener

Yesterday, I returned a lost book to Bones. He said it was his diary! In return, he gave me a checkered chesterfield coat. That item is a mouthful! And an alliterative mouthful, at that.

Bones: There ya go! It's a checkered chesterfield coat!

Static was talking about how much he enjoys gardening. He even said he wouldn’t be so pleasant and easygoing if not for gardening. So… I guess that means he doesn’t do it very often. 😛

Static: That's right, kiddo. I wouldn't be so pleasant and easygoin' if it weren't for these green thumbs.

When I spoke with Merengue, she told me that she’s currently reading a romance novel. And it had her imagining her ideal date…

Merengue: Oh! What about a nice, long walk along the shore, just taking in the seaside scenery together?
Sounds nice.

Tonight, Bones joined me for K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show. I asked for a random song, and he performed “Space K.K.” for us.

K.K.: Right on. I'm tuned up and ready to roll. Who's in the mood for a little Space K.K.?

Honestly, not a whole lot has been going on in Forest lately. But here are a few other quick notes about the past week:

  • On Sunday, K.K. Slider performed “K.K. Western” for me, Ankha, Bob, Merengue, and Kid Cat. Nice crowd!
  • Peanut was sick with a cold, so I crafted some medicine right in her house. She took the medicine, and she rewarded me with an explorer’s hat.
  • I helped out Wisp on Thursday, and he gave me a patchwork sofa chair.
  • After recovering Gullivarrr’s phone, he sent me a pirate-treasure robe yesterday.
  • I sold 14 bugs to Flick for a total of 61,200 bells.

  1. Hi Molly. I have all of them except for the letter-writing one. I just haven’t gotten around to writing out the last few dozen letters I still need. 😆

  2. Hi, Jeff. I was wondering if we could see how your Nook Miles Plus achievements are coming along. I just fished up my 5,000th fish on a 1 year old NH island. Then I threw out all my fishing rods because I was so over it.
