It was raining in town yesterday, and Marina told me how much she loves the rain. It’s very understandable, considering she’s a marine animal.

I also listened in on a conversation between Frobert and Marina, but I might wish I hadn’t. Frobert told Whitney about his new cologne called Eau De Gym Shorts. 🤢

But this conversation was unique in that Whitney didn’t say a word! She just did the wind-blowing emotion, and she was speechless!

She just walked away without saying a word! That was pretty cool to see a conversation cut off like that. But really though, Frobert deserved it.

Today, I spotted a UFO flying over Forest!

I used my slingshot to shoot it down, and Gulliver asked me to collect the pieces of his spaceship.

Frobert was out for a walk, seemingly oblivious to the crashed UFO behind him. 😆

After I retrieved the five UFO parts, Gulliver thanked me by giving me another pagoda. It’s the same reward he gave me last time.

Pippy asked me to deliver a gift to Maple, and the gift was a heart shirt. Maple was surprisingly ecstatic to get the shirt, even saying that she’s wanted one her entire life! 😮

When I returned to Pippy, she rewarded me with some cabana flooring.

I earned enough bells to boost my savings account balance to a nice, round 20 million bells!

On Wednesday, Whitney went up to Frobert and told him to watch, because she was going to dance!

Whitney did some emotions and said “Woot! Woot!” repeatedly, but Frobert was not impressed. 😆

Frobert then decided to show off his dance moves, which he called “the Wrassle.” It too involved emotions, but he said “fribbit” instead of “woot.”

Whitney tried to imitate him, but it didn’t go well. Neither of them were impressed with the other. I guess the Forest Dance-Off was not a big success. 😛

Yesterday, Chief got himself worked up for no apparent reason. (What’s new?)

He said he’s crazy like a shark, and that he’ll be “dead meat” if he doesn’t stop moving. I have no idea what he meant by any of this.

Today, Maple told me that every type of flower has a meaning. For example, cherry blossoms symbolize…deliciousness?

She said that’s because she loves the taste of fresh-picked cherries. If you say so, Maple.

Over by Able Sisters, Truffles surprised me by giving me her picture!

I took the photo home and displayed it in my Gulliver item room. I had to move Caroline’s pic to storage to make space, though.

Her favorite quote was on the back, in all caps: “JUMPING JELLY BEANS!”

Saharah was in town, and she had me delivering a carpet to Blathers and wallpaper to Pelly. Saharah then rewarded me with a western vista (wallpaper).

Yesterday, I was surprised to hear Chief asking Maple if she’s seeing anyone right now!

Maple said no, and she even said she’s never had a boyfriend.

So she asked Chief if he has a girlfriend. He deflected the question, saying girlfriends are something you want until you actually have one. 🤷

Today, Mom sent me a letter telling me about a plant that is said to bring happiness. She said it’s called the corn plant.

She sent a dracaena attached to the letter.

Frobert tried to teach me how to catch bugs. I guess he doesn’t know I’ve already caught them all, and don’t need tips.

Truffles told me that she just bought a trendy plastic bottle. That sounds exciting. 🥱

But she said it’s hard to use, so she doesn’t like it. How can a bottle be that hard to use, though? 🤔

Pippy asked me to deliver a gift (a paw shirt) to Whitney. Even though Whitney seemed to like it, she didn’t put it on (which made me think she didn’t like as much as she claimed). When I returned to Pippy, she rewarded me with something she said was my favorite thing: a toilet!
