Yesterday, I received a letter from Wishy in the mail. It was about the shooting star I wished on last week. He “granted my wish” by sending me a dracaena. I’m not sure that’s quite what I wished for, but a free gift is a free gift.
Pippy was talking about the Bug-Off that’s coming up on Sunday. She told me she has a bite-proof dress that (somehow?) keeps the bugs from biting her.

Maple was finally over her cold that she’s had for the past couple weeks. She thanked me for the medicine by giving me a watermelon table.

When I visited Whitney, I found a pack of wolves inside her house. 😉 It was her birthday, and she was celebrating with Chief.

For a gift, I gave her the Nintendo bench that I bought from Pippy on the last Flea Market day.

I played again tonight, and Derwin told me one of his darkest secrets: He likes clothes with fringes! 😆

Whitney wanted to have a competition to see who could catch a bell cricket first, and I actually agreed to the battle. Whitney assured me that she wouldn’t lose to a loser like me. 🙄

So I went around looking for crickets, and there were plenty of them. Unfortunately, the vast majority were regular crickets, not bell crickets! After catching several of the wrong ones, I had to hunt by sound and listen for the different call of the bell crickets. It took me seven and a half minutes, but I finally caught one!

By that point, I was afraid Whitney would’ve already caught one. (Or at least claimed to.) But fortunately, she didn’t. I gave her the bug, and she handed over a parlor wall as my prize for winning. But she wasn’t happy about losing to me. Too bad, wolf girl.

After selling the remaining crickets and mosquitos in my pockets, I went to town hall. There, I found a cabana lamp in the recycle bin.
Enjoy your weekend, everyone! I’ll be back with another entry next week. 🙂
