Robin Shuffled Out of Town

Yesterday, I was disappointed to find a goodbye letter from Robin in the mail! She left without warning! I’m sad to see her go, but you have to play the hand you’re dealt.

Good-bye, Jeff, I'm moving and I hope that you're a little more stylish the next time we meet. Sound like a plan? Happy now... Robin
I guess I didn’t play my cards right.

The worst part is that I never earned her photo, despite her living in town for over a year! And I’ve certainly helped her out with favors, giving her blue furniture all the time. And to think, Marina gave me her pic after just three months! Oof.

Pascal was in town, and he told me to be like a river and carve my own path. I really like that one. In fact, I think it’s one of my favorite quotes of his that I’ve seen!

Pascal: Be like a river, maaannn, and, like, carve your own path.
He gave me a keg before jumping into the sea.

Today is May 1st, and I received my monthly bank statement from the postal division at town hall. I earned 98,200 bells in interest this month.

I found a note in a bottle on the beach, and it was talking about an upcoming film that cost $20 billion to make! It might be hard just to break even on that film. 😆

Just announced! A film with a production cost of $20,000,000,000 and an all-star cast coming soon! Don't miss it!

When I spoke with Chief, he was laughing over something he saw: He witnessed Derwin falling over! 😆 I’d be laughing too if I had seen it!

Chief: Heh heh heh heh heh... I'll never forget the sight of Derwin falling over!

I accidentally shook an orange tree as I tried to talk to Frobert, and he said he was giving me a free ornate rug.

Frobert: I'm gonna give you my ornate wall for free, fribbit!

But he immediately changed his mind, saying it’s not my color. This guy’s been getting on my nerves lately.

Frobert: ...Hey, on second thought... it's really not your color, so never mind, fribbit!

I ran into Chief again, and he told me he needs to be in a big city, with people he can lead.

Chief: I need to be in a big city, with people that I can lead, know what I mean?

Enjoy your weekend, and I’ll be back with more next week! Never Stop Crossing!
