Whitney’s Tune

Yesterday, Angus told me that he thinks of all the people in town, Whitney and Marina are the closest friends. He then added that he never wants to fight with me. (Frankly, I think that’s a bunch of bull.) 🐂

Angus: Even though you bug me sometimes, I don't ever want to fight with you.
Your eyes seem to say you want to fight me right now. 😛

I noticed that my savings account balance reached 21 million bells, thanks to my monthly bank interest (plus one bell I deposited to make it a round number).

Phyllis: Your balance is 50 billion bells. Just kidding! It's actually 21,000,000.

Today was La-Di-Day, and Chief was the first villager to sing for me. However, I wasn’t impressed with his song.

Chief: Make sure you hear my song. It's a manly country ballad, on a pig!

Angus told me that his best song is a ballad, and he said that “hipster kids” won’t get it. 😛

Angus: My best song is a ballad. I don't think the hipster kids will get it.

But even though I spoke with him a couple times, he didn’t actually sing it for me. Oh well, you had your chance, Angus!

After I came out of Angus’s house, I heard a shooting star! I quickly wished on it. Check back next week to see what Wishy sends me!

Anyway, there was only one other villager that sang a La-Di-Day song for me: Whitney.

Whitney: You're about to hear a singing sensation live! Whitney, fribbit!

I liked her song; it sounded unique, with several pauses. So I hired Whitney, and her song is now the official town tune of Forest. I checked the notes over at town hall, so you all can recreate it (and use it) if you’d like.

Maple has still been sick with that cold from last week, so I gave her more medicine yesterday and today. Get well soon, Maple!

Down at the Roost, K.K. Slider performed “K.K. Condor” for me. That’s one of my favorites! It’s the o-o-o-o-o song (iykyk).

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Condor!
