Yesterday, Maple pinged me and told me I’m the best friend she has in Forest. Aww. 😊 But the best part is that she then gave me her photo!!
I took her picture home and put it on display, moving Truffles’s pic to storage. 😛
Maple’s favorite quote is on the back: “Maple + Moppina = BFF!”
Of course, Moppina is a reference to a villager conversation that I first saw in 2018. Margie said that her mop’s name is Moppina, and “she” is her best friend. (Other normal personality villagers can say the same thing.) It’s an obscure reference to include on a villager’s photo, but I appreciate details like that. 🙂
I played again tonight, and it was raining in town. Chief told me that a while back, someone threw a wallet away near where we were standing.
He said it was dirty and there was grease caked onto it, so that’s why it was discarded.
But he said that was no excuse for wasting the wallet. I don’t know, it probably smelled pretty bad if was caked in grease. They just shouldn’t have discarded it on the ground. At least take it to the recycle bin!
Pippy asked me to deliver a letter to Derwin, and she warned me not to read it. But Derwin clearly didn’t feel the same way, because he gladly showed it to me. 😛
When I returned to Pippy, she rewarded me with a stool.
