Today I StreetPassed someone who had this Zelda room in their house:
I got a letter in the mail from the Happy Homes Academy. They told me my house score topped 90,000 HHA points, so I got this silver HHA trophy. I put it in my trophy room at the museum.
Boomer was camping at the campsite, so I went in to say hello. He seems pretty cool, but I didn’t ask him to move in. I want to keep an open spot in case an animal I really want shows up. Someone like Agent S, Bob, or Lolly for example.
At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Joey, Patty, and Wendy came over to visit. We went up to T&T Emporium. Patty bought a banana split hat and Wendy bought the witch outfit.
I bought this spooky wall lamp, which I apparently didn’t notice when I shopped earlier in the day.
After we were done shopping, we hung out in my house for a while.
That included a fairly lengthy stay in my golden basement.
I joked that they could take a photo with a mummy for five dollars.
And then we stood around doing emotions for questionable reasons.
I let Joey and Patty catalog a couple items each and we headed to the island. We did the giant dragonfly tour, which is a good one for scoring lots of medals. I like how we’re all in costume in this picture. There’s a princess, a mummy, a diver, and a witch.
We got 20 medals for catching 20 dragonflies in seven minutes, plus bonus medals. I got second place, so I got 7 bonus medals. That’s a total of 27 medals in seven minutes. Joey earned a total of 35 medals in that span!
We then caught fish and bugs for a while. I wanted to save the game, so I chose an easy item-matching tour for us. After that, Patty was about ready to leave, so we returned to the mainland. I sold my catches for about 50,000 bells, and Patty left at 11:30.
I went into Molly’s house and talked to her; she asked me for some furniture. I had a stripe table in my pockets that I had customized the other day. I gave it to her, and she gave me her picture (Molly’s pic)!
After just receiving Benedict’s picture yesterday, I feel quite lucky to also get Molly’s pic today! I put it in my house next to Benedict’s.
The quote on the back of Molly’s pic is “Like water off a duck’s back.” It’s easy to see why this is her favorite quote.
While I was in there, I decided to clean that room up a bit. I had too many items sticking out and crammed into corners. So I put a few items in storage and rearranged some of the remaining furniture. I still need to replace my fireworks table with a spooky table as soon as I see one at the store. But my main room is looking a lot nicer now.
After Joey came to see it, I ended the party for the night. I had a very good time tonight. 🙂
But I was able to get all the signatures I needed. Mitzi, Rory, Mira, Pango, Colton, and Kabuki all showed their support for the “More Crayons per Box” cause.
I then returned to Forest to get the petition back to Benedict. I was hoping for his picture, of course. But he gave me a polka-dot dresser instead.
Naturally, I was disappointed. I went outside and talked to Tabby. She asked me to make a delivery to Benedict. So once again, I went back to the red rooster.
And this time, he gave me his picture! Now I got Benedict’s pic!
He is the second of my villagers to give me their pic. I put it in my house. Excuse the mess…
Benedict’s pic had his favorite quote on the back: “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.”
Then today, I got a letter in the mail from Tabby. I’m pretty sure she’s asking me out on a date!
I didn’t write her back, but I yelled “NO!” loud enough that even people in other towns could hear me.
Katrina was in town for the first time in quite a while, so I had her read my fortune. She told me that long-sleeved shirts were the key to avoiding health disasters. But I was already wearing one, so I was safe for today.
Luna told me that Jaycee from Icarus was my most recent dream visitor. Hi Jaycee!

Teddy was feeling better today, as I saw him going for a walk. He thanked me for the medicine I gave him the past three days and he rewarded me with a planter.
I got my amazing painting in the mail from Crazy Redd…and my lucky streak continues! It was a real painting once again! I donated it to the museum.
I’ve been incredibly lucky with paintings lately, but I know that won’t last forever. It’ll still take me years to finish the art section of the museum, just watch.
And at T&T Emporium, Kidd asked a very good question: Where is the restroom? I told him that since the town is full of animals, we’re just supposed to go outside. Preferably behind Tabby’s house. At least that’s what I do.
And it’s been a while since I’ve given an update on my badges. They say a picture says a thousand words, so here is my current badge collection:
