On Sunday, I found Marina over at the campsite!

It took me about two seconds to decide that I wanted to invite her into town. But she seemed more interested in playing games that involved one of us buying items from the other. I played a few of the games, but turned down even more requests. I did lose a steamroller in the process, though. 😛

But eventually (after probably 15 tries or so), she offered to play a game to see if she would move in! Fortunately, the game was charades, and those are pretty easy. So Marina agreed to move in!

The next day, Mira told me that she accidentally ate a rotten apple! Oops!

She said she has lost confidence in her senses, so she asked me to pick a fresh apple for her.

So I went out and picked an apple for her. Mira loved it, and she rewarded me with a ranch tea table.
Yesterday, it was raining in town. Boots used both his greeting and his catchphrase in one random-sounding, chaotic speech bubble. 😆

Hornsby asked me to return something to Jeremiah, and I agreed to help out. But Jeremiah wanted to play a game with it, asking me what I thought it was. I guessed (or hoped) that it was furniture…and I was wrong. (So I got no reward for making the delivery.)

While Marina’s plot showed up yesterday, there was already another camper in town. It was Flurry the hamster, and she’s cute.

I found a lost item on the ground, and I returned it to its owner, Molly. It was her book, and it apparently had a lot of sentimental value to her.

She rewarded me with another copy of her photo.
Today, Marina has officially moved in. Her house is just south of the campsite, very close to Rolf’s house.

I don’t mind the location except for one thing: The house took out six gold roses when it “landed.” Oof.
I went inside to greet Marina now that she’s an official resident here. Welcome to Forest, Marina!

She joins Inkwell to make octopus the most-common species in Forest at the moment. (My other eight villagers are all different species.) And Marina joins Molly and Mira as I now have three “M” villagers in town. Marina is also my first new villager since 2023, when Mira moved in!
But surprisingly, there was yet another camper at the campsite today! That’s three campers in four days! Today’s camper is Coach, who I never would’ve invited to town. 😆

Hornsby told me he’d like to try a piece of perfect fruit, so I gave him a perfect peach. He loved it, even though he used his catchphrase rather redundantly.

He rewarded me with what he called a “fantastic” gift: A common bed.
