Today, Re-Tail was buying turnips for 125 bells each. Even though that’s not a huge amount, the week is winding down and I didn’t want to have to worry about finding a good price tomorrow or Saturday. So I sold all my turnips for 125,000 bells.
Over by my fountain, Big Top told me that Wendy from Oakville is a heck of a stump maker. That sounds painful! I’ll take your word for it, Big Top.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Enzo from Kount was my most recent dream visitor. And at the Emporium, I saw Katt’s “purrty” face on the second floor.
And today is the last day of the cherry blossom petals, so Big Top was out enjoying them for the last time.
And later on, Jessica asked if she could come over to collect signatures for a petition. So I opened my gate, and she came over wearing a baseball uniform. Not many people wear the baseball uniform, but I think it looks good.
As she collected her signatures, she pointed out how my animals live in communities. There are basically three neighborhoods, each with 3-4 houses. (You can see my map on my town page). But that made her task of collecting signatures easier. She also pointed out how I’ve been lucky so far with animals not moving onto my path. That’s true…but I’m afraid she may have jinxed me. If my next animal moves onto a path, I’m definitely blaming Jessica!
For the third time in four days, there was a camper at the campsite! Today, it was Becky the chicken. I know her all too well; she lived in my ACCF town on two separate occasions.
Skye asked me for some furniture, so I gave her a customized green table. In return, she gave her picture!
Right outside of town hall, I found a lost item. Its owner wasn’t far away, as I found out when I spoke to Aurora. She said it had her bread inside, but it’s all stale now.
So I gave her the stale bread and she said “Thank you so much for returning it.” I don’t appreciate your sarcasm, penguin.
But she rewarded me with her picture! Wow, two in one day.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Brandon from B11 Town was my most recent dream visitor. And when I went in the post office, I deposited some money and my bank balance reached 11 million bells for the first time.
And I took the scary painting I got in the mail (from Crazy Redd) up to the museum to donate it.
My former villager Harry was also in the art room, talking about how he likes that there’s no staff around. That seemed suspicious. Maybe we shouldn’t keep all these valuable paintings in a museum with no guards and just one owl watching all of the first floor. Especially when that one owl never moves from his spot and is asleep half the time. This place is just asking to be robbed!
I then went up to the Happy Homes Showcase to check out a new StreetPass house. Its owner, Ian, gave me a heart b. balloon.
That’s all for today, but I plan on updating my
He wanted to play a game where I guessed what he just ate. Uhh…Kidd maybe?
I found that Kidd was alive and well, but he was hungry.
He asked for some fruit, and I gave him a perfect orange. He rewarded me with some birch flooring. Is that what I wanted? Nah nah nahh.
And when I returned to town, I heard a flea! It was on Kidd, so I plucked it off of him. He offered to return the favor sometime. Uh no thanks, I can pluck myself.
I then finished up my night by making a delivery, taking my massage chair to Kyra. Her town looked really nice. We had to walk pretty far though, just to find a spot without patterns so that I could drop the item!
By the way, the mystery of the baby pink tree has been solved! Tiffiny told me that she planted it. I recently gave her a kitchen island and I told her she didn’t have to pay me for it. But she wanted to repay me, even if I didn’t take her money…so she planted a bell tree in my town! That’s pretty clever, actually. Good thing I didn’t cut the tree down!
