As soon as I came out of my house, Big Top was there and he pinged me. He asked me to get a fruit for him. Fruit requests are the easiest requests to fulfill, so I gave him a perfect peach I had.

He thanked me and rewarded me by giving me this moth orchid.

I had a letter from Katie in the mail; she thanked me for taking her to Rinto yesterday. She attached a sketchbook to the letter.

As I started my walk around town, I saw Phineas. I was not expecting to see him, so I had no clue what badge I would be getting. It turned out to be the Town Concierge badge for fulfilling villagers’ requests. It’s my third gold badge.

Not much else was going on in town today, so I did a little Club Tortimer island hopping. I was doing it mainly for shopping, to see if I could find any good items for sale. I didn’t find anything I wanted to buy, but I did run into Mrs. Claus! (It was actually Caitlyn from Ladera).

Later on, I visited a dream town. Porter told me that it was a popular town because it had been used two times by visitors. Uhh, what?

And tonight, I did some bingo exchanges with friends. Skye and Taylor each came to my town to get bingo numbers, and I went to Chris’ town Ruby to get one as well. Chris has outdone me by having two illuminated trees in his town.

As I started up the game today, Isabelle told me that Katrina has opened up her shop on Main Street. That means my shopping district is now complete!

So I quickly made my way up there to take a look at it. On the outside, there’s not a whole lot to look at.

And the inside looks exactly like the inside of her tent.

Anyway, she told me an aurora knit shirt was the key to unlocking good fortune. But now that her shop is done, I probably won’t use her services very often. Maybe if I have a bad luck day where I’m tripping a lot, I might see what she has to say. But other than that, I doubt I’ll be seeing her much.

When I returned to town, Tabby pinged me. She suggested another public works project, a bell.

I went to go look at it, only to find that I first needed to attend the ceremony for the opening of Katrina’s shop. Katrina herself showed up; it’s a bit odd seeing her standing up and outdoors.

I was then able to see the bell project. It’s simple, but it looks nice. I do like the interactive projects, so I might consider putting it in my town eventually.

After that, I started looking for snowballs to make a snowman. I wasn’t trying to make a bingo snowman, so I tried making it smaller. I ended up making a snowboy, but not a perfect one.

Aurora tried telling me she was going to move out on the 22nd, but I put an end to that right away. I soon saw Katie once again, asking to go to another town. I checked for open towns and saw Andrew’s town of Rinto had an open gate. So Katie and I boarded the train…

…and arrived in Rinto.

I said hello to Andrew and his friend Ari.

While there, I sold a couple baskets of perfect peaches. Unfortunately, I realized too late that Rinto is a peach town. Oops.

Anyway, I then returned home to Forest, where Benedict asked me for some furniture. I gave him a fossil I had in my pockets and he gave me his picture again! Ugh! I wish I could get a picture from Big Top, Kidd, Skye, or Teddy instead of the same few animals over and over.

Nintendo sent out a new SpotPass home today; it belongs to Aminka from Shigtown. Her main room is your typical Mario room, but the room on the left is all-gold (similar to my basement). I especially like her gold piggy bank, although it’s debatable whether her throne is better than my golden super toilet.

She also had a nice Zelda room. Unlike most Zelda rooms I’ve seen, she had a mannequin dressed as Link. If you’re wondering why the Triforce is glowing, it’s because I activated it shortly before taking the pic.

Aminka from Shigtown also had a rococo room, a princess room, and this arcade/rec room in the basement.

And just to answer the inevitable question, this was a SpotPass home, not StreetPass. So everyone in North America should receive it, assuming SpotPass is turned on correctly.

I then returned to my town and paid Katrina to tell my fortune. Once again, she told me women’s bottoms were the key to getting lucky. Err…being lucky. Something like that. But as I started to leave, she stopped me. This is it! She suggested a fortune teller’s shop as a public works project!

It costs 340,000 bells, but Isabelle didn’t give me a preview of what it will look like. Unless it looks like a big yellow question mark.

Anyway, I was over by a pond when I heard a noise…splash! Apparently a dung beetle dunked a snowball into the pond!

I went up to Main Street to reset the snowball, and I also updated my dream town. Luna told me that Garrett from Gville recently enjoyed my dream town. I also made a large withdrawal from my bank account and then returned to town to find two snowballs. I made another bingo snowman and got a new bingo card.

My four bingo numbers for today were 14, 26, 43, and 48. My new bingo card had all of them! I may try to make a different type of snowman tomorrow, but I didn’t want my existing snowmen to go to waste. (Without a bingo card in my possession, they won’t spin new numbers).

Anyway, I paid off Katrina’s shop and returned to Isabelle at town hall. It will be done tomorrow, and my Main Street will finally be complete!

Tabby met me in a darkened alley and tried to sell me an armor suit. With this look on her face, I can totally picture her as a creepy salesman.

Chris then came over to get a number punched on his bingo card.

When he was done, I asked him if he wanted to shop before I closed the gate. He said yes, but I made my way into T&T Emporium before he did. So once he entered, he saw me just standing there and thought I was the mall Santa. 😀
