Being Tabby’s Hero

Today, I found that a new house will be going up tomorrow. It’s going to belong to Tammy.

This spot reserved for Tammy's new home. -Nook's HomesAt first, I was thinking of Tammi, the ugly monkey. I was going to say that she’s so ugly that her pending appearance has already killed a nearby tree!

Tammy's house plot and a nearby dead tree. But it turns out Tammy (with a Y) is actually a bear cub. She’s slightly less ugly than Tammi the monkey. And I’m guessing she may be from a StreetPass tag, but I should find that out tomorrow. But I’m not going to be happy with whoever it was that’s dumping off their ugly animals on me! 😛

When I talked to Rolf, he asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek.

Rolf: All right. Listen up, OK? We'll all go and hide somewhere here in town!Benedict was hiding nearby, so I got him right away. And less than two minutes later, I found Rolf behind the police station.

Molly: Hey! How did you know where I was?!Rolf congratulated me on winning the game and he gave me a minimalist sofa as a prize.

A bit later on, Tabby asked me what I would choose if I could decide what my watering can looked like. Of the choices available, I chose to tell her I wanted a skull-shaped watering can. She told me that was bizarre.

Tabby: Seriously? That's so bizarre! But then she changed gears a bit and told me she likes how I’m not afraid to be myself. And then she called me her hero! I’ve made a huge mistake…

Tabby: You're never afraid to just be YOU. You're totally my hero, master.Up in the Dream Suite, I found out that a Japanese player (apparently) was my most recent dream visitor.

Luna informs me that a Japanese player recently visited my dream town. And I had Cyrus customize a modern wall clock with an emerald, so I went back to pick that up.

Take home the modern wall clock?

Letter Set

Today, I got a letter in the mail from the post office. As a result of saving 500,000 bells in my bank account, they thanked me and sent me this letter set as a gift. (Note: It’s over my shoulder next to the tissues).

The letter set I got from the post office.I worked a shift at the cafe, and an out-of-towner came in for coffee. I served Jay some coffee with Kilimanjaro beans and no milk or sugar. He loved it.

Jay: Can I have some coffee? Please use Kilimanjaro beans! When I went back outside, Benedict told me that I have hands that are perfect for picking fruit. Uhh, thanks?

Benedict: And you have hands that are PERFECT for picking fruit. See where I'm going with this?I gave him a perfect peach, and he gobbled it up. He thanked me and gave me a minimalist table in return. I’m actually glad to have one of those; it’ll be great for displaying villager pictures.

Benedict: I need to give you a gift for bringing me that fruit! I hope you like my minimalist table!Saharah was in town, so I paid her 3,000 bells to make over my house. She installed a playroom wall and a concrete floor. I’m not a fan.

A playroom wall and concrete floor from Saharah. And up in the Dream Suite, Luna informed me that Camy from the town of La prep was my most recent dream visitor. Hi Camy!

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Camy from La Prep enjoyed your dream. That about wrapped up my day in Forest, but I have one other note to share with you. Beth has recently submitted two new patterns to the QR Codes section, including a great looking Halloween dress. So check them out if you’d like. And remember, if you’d like to submit your own design, just let me know! Even if you don’t want to use e-mail or Facebook to submit them, we can find another way, so contact me any way you can. 100,000 HHA Points

Today, I got a letter in the mail from the Happy Home Academy. They congratulated me for surpassing 100,000 HHA points. This gold HHA trophy was attached to the letter.

Rolf: I hear he left his young wife totally in charge of running the shop while he gets to sleep and lounge about. Not far away, I spotted Phineas! I asked him for a badge and he gave me the Happy Homer Silver badge. This is also a result of my house score topping 100,000 HHA points.

I got the Happy Homer Silver badge! I'm the Home Run King of the Happy Home Academy!I saw Molly, and she asked me for some small furniture. Since I’ve already received her villager pic, I didn’t need to go out of my way to give her something nice like customized furniture. In fact, I had a carp in my pockets, so I gave her that. But to my surprise, she liked it better than I anticipated and she gave me another pic of herself!

Molly: Here's my Molly's pic! Thank you so much for helping me!At the Dream Suite, Luna informed me that David from Apex was my most recent dream visitor. Hi David!

I then returned to town and talked to Skye. She suggested a new public works project, a fairy-tale streetlight.

Skye: Oh, Mr. Mayor, I have a request! Would you consider commissioning a fairy-tale streetlight here? This is what the fairy-tale streetlight looks like:

Fairy-tale streetlight PWP: 64,000 bells. You won’t be finding that in Forest. But I’m certainly not done installing new projects, either. I am taking a bit of a break from new public works projects as I try to get my bank account up to a million bells. Once I do, I’ll go through my list and pick something out.

As soon as I left town hall, I met Kidd right there. He gave me a free earthy knit shirt. He’s a nice, down-to-earth guy.

Kidd: Oh, it's just a little thing. But don't forget, a little goes a long way, while...uh, a lot isn't much at all? That wrapped up my night in Forest. See you next time!
