Chico’s Return

Sven’s time in Forest has come to an end. He has passed on…to another town. 😛 I got his goodbye letter when I played today.

To my pal, Jeff, I have a hunger...and while I normally just grab a snack to fill up, this hunger will only be satisfied by exotic foods from far-off lands. So, I'm now a wanderer! -Snackily yours, Sven

Genji was talking about the arrival of spring, and groundhogs. He said he has always wanted to catch one; he just didn’t know what he’d do with it once he caught it.

Genji: I've wanted to catch one for YEARS, on a bun! Although...what would be the point of doing that?

Crazy Redd has an upcoming visit to Forest planned, and Emerald warned me about buying anything from Redd.

Emerald: He always looks so fake when he talks. I'm telling you, he's a crook, sproing!

I found Sven’s replacement Shiro Chico just one acre south of my house. Chico lived in town in the early years of Forest, and he was a good buddy of mine. I used to enjoy going inside his house and dancing to K.K. Faire. That’s how K.K. Faire became one of my favorite K.K. songs.

Chico asked me to buy a biwa lute from him, and I declined. But he then gave it to me for free!

Chico: Here's your biwa lute! Keep in mind it's not edible. I found out the hard way.

Even though I also have Chico in my 2nd town of Ohio, it’s good to have him back in Forest too…even if he doesn’t stick around long. I went in his house to dance, just like old times.

Puck tried to sell me a shirt for 1,090 bells.

Puck: I've been into the snacks, and so I've kinda outgrown it, but I think it'll fit you perfectly, Jeff!

He didn’t say what shirt it was, he just insisted that it would look good on me–that’s what they all say! Naturally, I declined the offer.

I’ve been making progress on a new video, but I still need to find two more villagers I’ve had trouble tracking down. I have no idea when I’ll find them, but I’m hoping it will be sooner rather than later.
