Mother’s Day

Today is Mother’s Day and I received a letter from home. “Mom” also attached a bag of pink carnation seeds to the letter.

Dear Jeff, Today (and today only), your dad is doing the laundry and cleaning. It's my once-annual day off, and I intend to enjoy it! It's my day. -MomThe occasion was also noted on the bulletin board.

~Today is Mother's Day~ Don't forget to tell your mom you love her!I took the bus to the city and checked for new emotions. Nothing piqued my interest this week.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?Back in Forest, Victoria played her town tune from when she used to live in Anville. However, she was playing it right as the hourly chimes were playing my town tune, so I didn’t hear it at all.

Victoria: It's the town tune from my old, like, stomping ground of Anville.I talked to Bob and he asked me to deliver something to Egbert.

Bob: Okaydokey then. I'd like you to take this to Egbert, please.I stopped in Patty’s house and saw that she is now packed. She will be gone in a day or two.

Patty: Like, hi there, Super J! This took me a REALLY long time to decide, but I'm totally moving.I eventually made my way to Egbert’s house and gave him the gift from Bob. It turned out to be a paulowina closet.

Egbert: Thanks for bringing this, egg-layer! And please say thanks to Bob!I returned to Bob and told him the delivery was complete. He thanked me and gave me a concrete wall.

Bob: Huh huh huh huh! Nothing screams "Super J" like a concrete wall!
