Late September Grass

Today, I noticed the grass color has changed to its late-September look. I know a lot of people don’t like this color, but I think it’s the best-looking grass color of the year.

The new shade of grass for late September. When I talked to Robin, she told me she’s thinking about moving out of town. I didn’t try to stop her. I’ve always been kind of neutral towards her. I still have her in my GameCube town anyway.

Robin: If not forever, that means I'll be moving eventually. So, do you think I should just get it over with? And in Bob’s house, I noticed the curious position of his table tennis. You can’t play ping-pong like that! Duh, Bob!

Bob's table tennis sandwiched between a kiddie sofa and a beach chair. There's no room to play it!

My Weird Animals

I took a late-night walk around Forest tonight. Robin wasn’t very happy to see me, though. She was embarrassed because she didn’t have any make-up on.

Robin: ...I didn't think that I'd see anyone at this hour! I don't have my makeup on...Down in the Roost, Octavian was enjoying a nice cup of hot coffee. At midnight.

Octavian: The coffee here is rich and mysterious, much like myself.
You’re rich?

And Bob was telling me about how he makes himself smell like spaghetti sauce. He’s an odd one, that Bob.

Bob: I thought so. That's why I spritzed myself with Eau de Spaghetti before you got here!

Games with Pinky

Last night, Becky approached me to tell me she was thinking of moving out. I asked her to stay, mainly because Megan hasn’t had a chance to reunite with her yet. Becky moved from Megan’s town, but Megan hasn’t visited since. So Becky agreed to stick around longer.

Becky: What a muddle... But thanks for the wake-up call, Dr. J!Tonight, I made my way around town to water flowers. I saw Pinky from across the river, and I waved to her.

Waving to Pinky from across the river. When I made my way over there, she asked me to play hide and seek. I agreed, and we met up at town hall. Avery and Robin also joined in the game.

Pinky: Ahem, ahem! And now we shall begin the playing of hide-and-seek!I only had ten minutes to find them all, so I didn’t waste any time. Avery was the first one I found, hiding behind his own house.

Avery: Well, pickle and can me! It looks like I've been found. After that, it took a while before I found anyone else. But I eventually found Pinky behind the museum.

Pinky: I feel like I've been ravaged by the Forest ninja or something. You're really good, shorty. With about two minutes to spare, I found Robin behind a house to win the game. Pinky thanked me for playing and gave me a mini puffoid.

Pinky: ...Oh, well! It was still fun! Here's a mini puffoid for your trouble and stuff, wah.
