Flea Market

Pinky officially moved out of Forest this morning. I got her goodbye letter in the mail.

Dear Jeff, Wah, Jeff! Today is finally the day I leave Forest forever. Thanks for being such a great BFF! Take care! -Yours, PinkyOver by town hall, Avery was talking about how much he loves eating sweets at night.

Avery: Mmm, I just love to pig out on fruit salad! I think I'm gaining weight just thinking about it.
Well if you’re going to pig out on something, fruit is a healthy choice.

Today was the day of the flea market. I checked out Lily’s pad house, but she didn’t have anything I wanted.

Lily: The best way to let me know what you're after is by just going right up and touching it.I then went to my house, and Melba came in to shop. She asked about my wheat field, and I told her I’d sell it for 1,000 bells. She said the price was too high and she asked me to lower it.

Melba: I still want it, but not at that price. If you dropped the price, down under...I declined, choosing the “it’s mine” option. She then said too bad, because she would have paid any price I asked! Obviously not, since you just turned it down! Never trust a koala.

Pinky Packed

Today, I found Pinky all packed up and ready to move out.

Pinky: Like, hi there, my liege! This took me a REALLY long time to decide, but I'm totally moving. After 8:00, I went over to the Roost to hear K.K. sing. I asked for a random song and he then performed K.K. Marathon. Much like a real marathon, it was repetitive and seemed to go on forever.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Marathon. After the show ended, I saw Becky outside. Apparently, I haven’t talked to her in a long time. She gave me some sort of vague warning…I’m starting to think she booby-trapped my house!

Becky: You've been away for a while, so stay on your toes when you go back into your house, dip dip!And back behind Nookington’s, I talked to Nate the Great. I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but what’s up with his eyebrows? They’re big and bushy, and that’s fine…but why are they green? Is that a portable cabbage garden or something? Anyway, he asked me for some white furniture. Tom Nook had a telescope for sale, so I bought it and gave it to Nate.

Nate: All right! Huh huh huh! It's the telescope furniture I was waiting for!He thanked me and gave me a corn plant. Great, I’ll plant it in my eyebrows!

Wispy Woods

While making my rounds tonight, I ran into Wisp the ghost. He asked me to find his lamp for him.

Wisp: You probably guessed, but the thing I need help finding is...my lamp.So I kept an eye out for it as I went around watering my flowers. When I met up with Ribbot, he asked me for a new greeting. I know he’s not exactly Slippy Toad, but I had him say “Do a barrel roll!”

Ribbot: Do a barrel roll! After a couple minutes, I saw it. The empty lamp was mine!

An empty lamp on the ground near a house. After completing my walk around town, I returned to Wisp. He went inside the lamp and told me to rub it in the safety of my own attic. So that’s what I did. He offered me a choice of rewards, and I asked him for an accessory. He gave me some pink glasses.

Wisp: OK! Here you go! It's some pink glasses! They’re definitely not my style. Not even my mummy would wear these out in public!

Me wearing the pink glasses. Not my style.
