Blaire moved out of Forest this morning, and I got her goodbye letter this evening when I started up the game.
Avery asked me for a fossil, and I just happened to have one in my pockets. So I gave it to him and he gave me a steel flooring in return. But then he started acting a bit arrogant. He said he can charm his way into anything. Jerk.
Some of my long-time readers may remember my “hot spot” for hybrids next to Scott’s house. The two blue roses on the left used to produce a black rose for me fairly often. Well, the hot spot hasn’t been very hot lately, but they did produce a new black rose today.
I found a dandelion puff on the ground, so I picked it up and blew it. I’m not sure how I’m able to do that through the bandages covering my mouth, but I won’t question it too much.
And I’ve made a slideshow video in Bob’s memory. Thanks to Squishy for the idea. This includes virtually every picture I ever took of Bob, and a few others where Bob is mentioned. I hope you enjoy it:
When I saw Pinky, she said she had been looking for me all day. She said she was going to give me a cool shirt. But since she couldn’t find me, she used it to clean her sink instead.
I ran into Miranda a bit later, and she tricked me into playing a game of hide-and-seek! She asked me a question, but it sounded like it was just normal conversation. But when I answered yes, the screen turned black and we were all at town hall. Anyway, I had ten minutes to find Miranda, Pinky, and Blaire. Pinky was the first one I found, hiding behind a tree.
A couple minutes later, I also found Miranda.
It took me a full trip around town before I could find Blaire. She was hiding behind Scott’s house. With that, I had won the game and Miranda rewarded me with a mega drilloid.
Speaking of Scott’s house, I had ordered a GameCube dresser for his house. Scott has lots of hybrid flowers in his storage, and I got the purple roses for Bob’s grave from his collection. But several new purple roses have popped up since then, so I’ve been leaving them by Scott’s house to replace what I took.
Ribbot asked me to make a delivery to Miranda for him. I agreed, so I tracked down the pink duck. The present turned out to be a camel shirt, which she didn’t seem to care for.
Since Pascal was right there (on my northern bridge), I decided to go ahead and give him a scallop. He gave me a ship deck (carpet) and advised me not to wake a sleeping person to give them sleeping pills.
I then started searching town to see where Ribbot had wandered off to. Eventually I found him on my peninsula. I told him I completed the delivery, and he rewarded me with a ceramic tile.
And then, Pascal just happened to float by! I didn’t plan that or anything; my focus was on finding Ribbot and I forgot all about Pascal floating down the river. It’s kind of funny when you see him unexpectedly.
