Kung Fu Penguin

I spoke with Friga tonight, and she told me she was going to go to kung fu school! I’ve heard of kung fu panda, but not kung fu penguin!

Friga: I'm going to go to school to get better at practicing kung fu!As I watered my flowers, I looked up at the sky. There were these wispy clouds moving fairly quickly, with a mysterious moon peeking through.

The moon peeking through clouds in the night sky.I didn’t find any new black roses today, unfortunately. But I made a thorough count to see exactly how many I still need. I decided I’ll want to put four gold roses just below my bus stop here:

Me standing at the bus stop.So in total, I definitely need 12 more black roses still. By the way, I plan on keeping red roses in the spots where houses can potentially move in. Otherwise, I’d be losing gold roses each time an animal moved in. But still, I’m looking forward to completing this multi-year project.

Elmer’s Recovery

A notice posted on the bulletin board yesterday serves as a reminder that Bunny Day (aka Easter) is coming up on Sunday! I hope you peeps all have a great Easter!

~Notice~ April 20th is Bunny Day! Grab your shovels because Zipper T.'s coming to town! While on my northern bridge, I saw Goose walking around and I stopped to wave to him. I was trying to get the hand pointer off-screen by the time I took the picture, but I didn’t quite make it.

Standing on the bridge and waving to Goose. Now I could blame Goose for that, but I don’t want to point any fingers. But you’ve got to hand it to me for at least trying, right?

Elmer was finally over his sickness tonight. He told me he’s going to keep the medicine package as a souvenir of the Great Plague of 2014.

Elmer: I'm gonna keep the empty medicine package as a souvenir of the Great Plague of 2014.He may need to be more specific though, because he was really sick in February too.

Saving Octavian

Late last night, I was able to convince Octavian to stay in town. I had to bribe him with eight wristwatches, but it was worth it.

Octavian: You've convinced me, shorty. I'll stay on as Forest's crankiest resident a while longer.Today was the day of the fishing tournament, but I played about five hours too late to actually participate. Chip (eventually) told me Ribbot was the winner with his 45.4 inch sea bass.

Chip: Oh, the results! Of course! It's the results you want! I am one nutty beaver! Nyuuuk nyuk nyuk!Elmer was sick once again, so I bought some medicine for him. As much as he gets sick, he should buy some medicine of his own.

Elmer the horse flips as he takes his medicine. And at the Roost, I watched a performance from K.K. I asked him for a random song, and he played K.K. House.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. House.
