I checked my mail today, and I received a letter I did not want to read. It was a goodbye letter…from Kiki! My favorite villager left without warning!
And this was not her first time leaving me. She lived in my town previously and moved out in 2009 or so. I hate how the good animals leave, while animals like Mallary and Derpy Bunnie stick around forever.
There was also a letter from “Mom” in the mail, and she sent me some medicine in case I caught a cold. I was feeling fine, but that medicine came in handy when I visited Fang and saw he was still sick.
I spoke with Friga, and she asked me for an armor suit! What on Earth would a penguin need a suit of armor for?
And over by Nook ‘n’ Go, Angus was telling me that Tom Nook was a wild child when he was younger!
I finished up my night with some Saturday night music in the Roost. I asked K.K. for a random song, and he whistled performed K.K. Dixie for me.

Fang was feeling under the weather, so I bought some medicine from the shop for him. Once I gave it to him, he did the Fang Flip for it. He didn’t feel much better yet, however.
When I spoke with Bunnie, she told me she saw a weirdo standing on the bridge! She said he was thinking some deep thoughts, so I knew she was talking about Pascal.
Once I made my way over there, I saw the “weirdo” for myself. Pascal’s deep thought for the day was wondering if polar bears hibernate in summer. Of course not! You otter know better than that!
I gave him a scallop I had attached to a letter, and he gladly exchanged it for a barrel. He then backflipped into the river and swam away.
And one of the mushrooms each day will actually be a piece of furniture from the mush set. Today, I found one by Scott’s house that was actually a mush lamp.
I made it up to the Roost before midnight, so I got to hear K.K. perform Lucky K.K.
