Kiki’s Surprise Exit

I checked my mail today, and I received a letter I did not want to read. It was a goodbye letter…from Kiki! My favorite villager left without warning!

Kiki's goodbye letter in Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii.And this was not her first time leaving me. She lived in my town previously and moved out in 2009 or so. I hate how the good animals leave, while animals like Mallary and Derpy Bunnie stick around forever.

There was also a letter from “Mom” in the mail, and she sent me some medicine in case I caught a cold. I was feeling fine, but that medicine came in handy when I visited Fang and saw he was still sick.

Fang faces the ceiling as he flips taking medicine.I spoke with Friga, and she asked me for an armor suit! What on Earth would a penguin need a suit of armor for?

Friga: Can you help me out? I'm sorry to ask, but it'd really help if you could find me an armor suit! And over by Nook ‘n’ Go, Angus was telling me that Tom Nook was a wild child when he was younger!

Angus: Have you heard the rumors about Tom Nook's wild youth, on a bun?I finished up my night with some Saturday night music in the Roost. I asked K.K. for a random song, and he whistled performed K.K. Dixie for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Dixie.

You Otter Know

Tonight, Mallary told me she was going to go to school to learn how to grow vegetables! Since it’s new to her, I guess she’ll have to start out in kindergarden.

Mallary: I'm going to go to school to get better at growing vegetables!Fang was feeling under the weather, so I bought some medicine from the shop for him. Once I gave it to him, he did the Fang Flip for it. He didn’t feel much better yet, however.

Fang does a backflip as he takes some cold medicine. When I spoke with Bunnie, she told me she saw a weirdo standing on the bridge! She said he was thinking some deep thoughts, so I knew she was talking about Pascal.

Bunnie: He was just all, like, looking at the water like he was thinkin' deep thoughts or whatever.Once I made my way over there, I saw the “weirdo” for myself. Pascal’s deep thought for the day was wondering if polar bears hibernate in summer. Of course not! You otter know better than that!

Pascal: If bears hibernate in the winter, do polar bears hibernate in the summer, maaaan?I gave him a scallop I had attached to a letter, and he gladly exchanged it for a barrel. He then backflipped into the river and swam away.

Start of Mushroom Season

I had two letters waiting for me when I started up the game tonight. One was from the post office, telling me that I earned 99,999 bells in interest on my bank account. The other letter was from Mallary, who thanked me for the medicine the other day. She attached an elephant slide to the letter. Uhh, thanks?

With today being November 1st, this marks the beginning of mushroom season. Throughout November, you’ll be able to find mushrooms growing around town. If you have a perfect town, you’ll also find rare mushrooms such as this one buried underground. They’re worth a whopping 16,000 bells!

Look at that! I dug up a rare mushroom! And one of the mushrooms each day will actually be a piece of furniture from the mush set. Today, I found one by Scott’s house that was actually a mush lamp.

I thought it was just a mushroom, but it was really a mush lamp!I made it up to the Roost before midnight, so I got to hear K.K. perform Lucky K.K.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Lucky K.K..
