Day of the Snowstorm

Today is the day of the big snowstorm that will soon cover the ground with snow (starting tomorrow). There’s something peaceful about watching snow flurries fall from the sky.

Watching snow flurries fall from outside my house.Angus was having second thoughts about coming out in the snow. He figured he must have a screw loose, on a bun. That would make for a nice, crunchy sandwich. For a robot, maybe.

Angus: Bah! What was I thinking, coming out in this weather? I must have a screw loose somewhere, on a bun...I took a fossil up to the museum to be identified, and Blathers told me I have a mammoth torso.

Blathers: What you have here is a mammoth torso! Hoo! Indeed, WOO hoo!
Are you calling me fat?!

Back outside, Fang was also feeling the effects of the cold and snow. He wondered if it was time to start hibernating!

Fang: It's c-c-cold. Real cold. But not quite cold enough to just start hibernating...yet.And when I ran into Lily, she casually told me she was going to start calling me J-pie!

Lily: I mean, you'd better like it, 'cause that's what I'm calling you from now on, J-pie!
I’ve never been so disappointed with pie.

Panda Mail

I got Chester’s goodbye letter in the mail today. I can’t say I’ll miss him very much; he never even gave me any Cheetos!

Chester's goodbye letter in Animal Crossing: City Folk.Oddly, that wasn’t the only panda-related item in my mailbox today. Friga sent me a letter thanking me for the medicine recently, and she sent me a gift along with the letter: a Papa panda.

When I went to visit Lily, she told me that Bunnie was insulting her clothing choices. But Lily said that she loves her dress so much, that she wants to wear it forever…in a pond.

Lily: And it was! I love that dress, so I wanna wear it forever, in a pond... Is that weird?
Noooooo, it’s not weird at all……

I then went to the Roost to catch a Saturday night show from K.K., Animal Crossing’s singing dog performer. I left the song choice up to him, and he chose to sing K.K. Lament. It’s a sad song of course, and it made me think of how no one will be joining me in these chairs for another K.K. performance ever again.

K.K. performs some live music for me, and only me.

Panda Packed

I went in Chester’s house today, and I saw that the panda is packed and ready to move out of town. I have no problem with that.

Chester: Oh, oh, it's dearie... I'I'm sorry! I didn't mean to take off without saying anything, rookie!Tom Nook had a festive tree on sale, so I decided to buy it for my house. I don’t really put much effort into redecorating my house lately, but I can at least put up a Christmas tree. I just wish he had the large one for sale instead.

Tom Nook: Yes, a festive tree. It costs 1,040 bells. But that tree wasn’t the only thing I bought at Nook ‘n’ Go; I also bought some medicine for Friga, who was still sick with a cold. She should start feeling better soon.

Frigs flips as she takes some cold medicine.
