I started up the game to find many Happy New Year’s wishes in my mailbox. I received letters from Mallary, Lily, Friga, Bunnie, and Mom. Mom also included 1,000 bells.

He was handing out the New Year’s shirt for 2015. It’s the year of the sheep, so it has a sheep on the front. But is it made of wool?
And of course, it says “2015” on the back. Today is the only day you can get this shirt, so you might want to pick yours up while you can!
Each villager wished me a happy new year. Prince hopes we get lots of good food this year. In his case, that probably means flies and other insects. So I think I’ll decline any dinner invitations I get from him.

When I went to visit Broccolo, I saw that he was hungover sick, so I went to Nook’s and bought some medicine for him. Hopefully he’ll start feeling better soon. Because I’m not cleaning up his puke.
I finished up my day with a bus ride to the city, where I had a little chat with Phineas. He ended up giving me a green balloon.
