The Last Slice of Pizza

When I started up the game this evening, I got Genji’s goodbye letter in the mail.

Genji's goodbye letter in Animal Crossing: City Folk.Even though I’ve long had enough gold roses to line all my paths, my surplus continues to grow. If I ever accidentally destroy one (or 20), I’ll have no problem replacing it (or them). I actually have even more extras besides these; they’ve sprouted up at various locations around town.

My collection of surplus gold roses.Angus asked me to make a delivery to Broccolo, and I told him I’d help him out. Fortunately, I found Broccolo about three seconds later. But Broccolo was scared to open up the package.

Broccolo: From Angus? For me? Oh, I'm so excited! Or maybe nervous? Or is it... queasy?I have one spot in town where four Jacob’s ladders have grown in a square pattern. They’re often wilted (thought not usually all at once), and I water them when I see them wilted, but they never seem to die. That’s a bit surprising considering I only play twice a week.

Four wilted Jacob's ladders all together.I saw a balloon present floating by, so I whipped out my slingshot and shot it down. Inside the box, I found a starman.

Shooting down a balloon present. Pop!I took the bus to the city, and I saw that the cones (that normally block off the Reset Surveillance Center) were pushed to the side. I walked in, and nobody was home. But I had my eye on the last slice of pizza… I wonder if they’d know it was me who took it…

One slice of pizza left in the Reset Center.I wanted to dye my hair green to dress up as Mohawk McClover (like I did in New Leaf today), but Shampoodle was already closed for the day. I’ll try to do it next time I play (if it’s early enough in the day).

I finished up my night in Crazy Redd’s shop. I saw a plant for sale, so I asked Redd about it. It was a pothos! I’ve been looking for a pothos for years! Just for my catalog checklist, that is. But it’s about time it finally showed up!

Redd: Oh, ho! I see you've taken quite a shine to that there pothos, yes?
