Bunnie Bounces

As expected, Bunnie was all packed up and ready to move out of town. She even admitted that it took her a long time…very true. So long, Bunnie!

RUU_5491-smOn my walk around town, I spotted Chow the panda on my northern bridge. I stopped briefly to wave at him. RUU_5492-smI went down to the Roost (on the lower floor of the museum) to catch some live music. K.K. performed DJ K.K. for me.

RUU_5493-smBroccolo was looking forward to Christmas, saying he’s been good so that he can score some presents…and cheese. Sometimes catchphrases just fit the conversation perfectly.

RUU_5494-smAfter selling some fossils and fruit, I deposited my money into the bank at the post office. My balance reached 26 million bells–that’s only half of what I have in New Leaf. But of course, money is much easier to come by in New Leaf.

Constellation Cancellation

I received a letter in the mail from the snowman I built on Saturday. He sent me a snowman carpet to thank me for giving him life.

I spoke with Friga, and she was happy that it’s Wednesday…in igloos. Apparently she was just looking forward to her weekly manicure.

RUU_5485-smMott asked me to make a delivery to Static, and I agreed to help out. The item turned out to be a pinball machine, and Static loved it. When I told Mott the delivery had been completed, he rewarded me with 552 bells. There’s that number again.

RUU_5486-smAurora also asked me to make a delivery, this one to Jay. It was a samurai suit, and Jay wasn’t thrilled with it. But he put it on anyway, saying he’ll try not to swallow. I don’t even want to know what that means.

RUU_5487-smI returned to Aurora, and she also rewarded me with 552 bells.

I decided it was time to remove the constellations from the sky. So I headed up to the observatory and Celeste helped me out. Goodbye to the J, Big Dipper, ladybug, and triangle constellations.

RUU_5488-smAnd just like in New Leaf, Christmas lights now adorn many of the cedar trees around town.

RUU_5489-smAnd right when I was about to wrap up my night, I spotted Saharah in town! She wanted some old carpets, so I quickly went around town to ask my villagers if they had any of them. Twiggy had one for me, and I used that along with two I had in storage to give to Saharah. In return, she gave me an “exotic” concrete floor. While I don’t agree about it being exotic, it was an item that I needed for my checklist. So I’ll gladly take it.

RUU_5490-smTo my surprise, Bunnie was still not packed up yet. She better not change her mind on me! But I think she’ll either be packed up or already moved out by the next time I play.

Winter Arrives

Even though it wasn’t snowing when I started up the game tonight, snow now covers the ground around town; winter is here! I headed up to Able Sisters to swap out my orange brick path pattern for my icy blue brick pattern.

RUU_5479-smThe fishing tournament was held today, but as usual, I played too late in the day to participate. Chip, the judge of the tournament, told me that Chow was the winner with a 51.2 inch sea bass.

I found two snowballs, so I tried rolling up my first snowman of the season. To my surprise, he was perfect! I wasn’t sure I would make him right on my first try, but I’m glad this guy is happy. For now, at least. His opinion of himself may be dampened in a few days, but enjoy the moment, Snowman!

RUU_5480-smBunnie was outside, and she was still unsure if she really wanted to move or not. I told her that she should go, and she tried laying a guilt trip on me.

RUU_5483-smI visited Friga in her house, and she told me that Saturday is her massage day. You’re not getting one from me, so don’t even think about it. She said she has to keep herself in sassy shape so that her sass doesn’t pass.

RUU_5481-smAt 8:00, I headed down to the Roost to catch some live music. I let K.K. pick the song, and he performed K.K. Aria for me.
