Fishing for a Key

It was cold and snowy in Forest tonight. Alli told me the weather made it hard for her to fire up her fabulousness. But I’ve never seen her “fabulousness” on nice days either, so I think it’s a crock.

RUU_5474-smBunnie must not like the cold weather either, because she told me she’s moving out of town! It’s about time!

RUU_5475-smBut oddly enough, Mott was thinking about swimming pools! He said he wanted to put one in his basement, complete with a button that would add sharks and piranhas.

RUU_5476-smChow was locked out of his house, so I went fishing for his key. But I ended up catching many fish in the meantime. Twiggy saw a pond smelt sticking out of my pocket, and she wanted it. She traded me a kappa suit for it.

RUU_5477-smEventually, I caught Chow’s key in the river and returned it to him. To thank me, he gave me a gyroid. You should invite me over for some chow dinner sometime, dude.

RUU_5478-smBy tomorrow, snow will cover the ground! Are you looking forward to it?

Chow Time

Thursday, I (thankfully) remembered to RUU_5468-smlook for Gulliver down on the beach. Once I woke him up from his nap, he asked me to look for his spaceship part. I already had it in my pockets, so I handed it over. In return, he gave me a mermaid statue.

I found a new house in town, and it belonged to Chow the panda. I knew he looked familiar; it turns out I had him in my GameCube town in 2013.

RUU_5469-sm And then today, I visited Bunnie. She told me she was in the 5th stage of her interior-design plan. Apparently her plan is to  make a low-budget museum? We already have a nice, complete museum in town, Bunnie. We don’t need your collection of bones.

Chow invited me over to see the inside of his house, so we scheduled a meeting time. When Chow time finally arrived, I went on inside. He warned me not to look under his bed; apparently he’s breeding horrible monsters!

RUU_5471-smMaybe he just plays Pokemon.

When I (eventually) tried to leave, he didn’t seem happy about it. He threatened warned me to come back soon. Yeah, good luck with that.

RUU_5472-smBehind Chow’s house (and near the waterfall), I spotted Broccolo. He asked how his clothes made him look. But I didn’t exactly have a clear look at his clothes, so I told him he looks just dandy.

You look just dandy.

UFO #28

Today, Jay told me he keeps forgetting to put shoes on. Maybe that big red arrow on his shirt could be a reminder to look down? I don’t know, just a thought.

Jay: I'm always forgetting to put on shoes...Of course it’s December now, so you may find some holiday items showing up in Nook’s store. I bought myself this festive tree for my house.

Tom Nook: Yes, a festive tree. It costs 1,040 bells.Up on the cliff, I found Twiggy looking straight ahead…and Static right behind her, also staring straight ahead. I think Static was considering pushing her off! I guess it’s not murder if you do it to a bird. “That was a freebie.”

Static about to push Twiggy off a cliff?Broccolo was over by town hall, and he asked for a new greeting. He should know better than to ask me for a greeting.

Broccolo: Have a mice day!All indications were that today was a Gulliver day! So I whipped out my slingshot, grabbed my watch, and took my position when the time came. There were no signs of the UFO at 7:02 or 7:07 tonight, but at 8:02, I had a close encounter! Even though you can’t tell it from the picture (I shot it a bit early), I did actually strike the UFO with the shot from my slingshot.

Shooting a UFO!This was my 2nd UFO of 2015, and my 28th overall. I then tracked down the spaceship part. Hopefully I’ll remember to exchange it for a gift tomorrow.

Finding the spaceship part on the ground.
