Tonight, Benedict told me that he wanted to be like Tom Nook and open up his own store. But he wasn’t sure what to sell. He suggested maybe garlic bread and cheese.

My club shirt was starting to get a bit stinky, so I knew I needed to buy some new clothes. Able Sisters had a flame shirt on sale, so I decided to buy it. Interestingly enough, a fireman’s hat was right next to it. Good thing I bought the shirt before the fireman could put it out!
I got a surprise when I went into Marina’s house: She was all packed up and ready to move out of town! I like Marina, so I wish she would have stuck around longer, but that’s how the game works. Especially now that I’m only playing about once a week now, I won’t always get a chance to stop my villagers from moving.

Aurora asked me to catch a red snapper for her, so I headed to the ocean. As I was in the process of catching a fish, I saw Aurora getting mad at Chow in the background (look in the top-right corner of this picture):
It took me a couple more minutes until I caught a red snapper, and Aurora was over her tantrum by then. Of course, her red-eyed look of surprise is just as frightening!
She was happy to have her very tasty red snapper and she rewarded me by giving me NOTHING a beach chair.
It took me a few minutes to catch the key, which actually wasn’t too bad. I returned the key to Marina and she thanked me by giving me a pastel-dot rug.
Nothing else was going on in town yesterday, so I returned to play it again today. I found Twiggy near the ramp, talking about the Nook point rewards. She said she’s been buying stuff like crazy to get those exclusive prizes.
That reminds me that some of my ACCF friends did that, too. Ness/Bushido would go to the store and buy out everything, haha. I would have to remember to check the store before I opened my gate, or else I might not have a chance to buy anything that day. 😛
In case you haven’t heard, Animal Crossing: City Folk recently got re-released as part of the Nintendo Selects line. It has a MSRP of $19.99 in America. Online play is no longer supported of course, but it’s still a fun game. You can check your local stores if you’re interested, or
I visited Tutu, and her house was almost
Chow the panda was feeling under the weather, so I bought some medicine for him. Chow down!
And then today, Alli told me it was time for her to plan a party. The theme of the party would be that we would all talk about what it would be like to own one slipper.
Just a few moments later, I found Tutu behind town hall. It took me a little longer to find Alli because she was on the other side of town: She was hiding behind Benedict’s house.
I took a quick trip up to the city, and I saw one of my favorite animals from the series…and one of my least favorite. You can probably guess which is which.
